"Ah!" Grititi suddenly got a scare, quickly jumping back and turning to see who did that.
Rean looked at him, laughing. "Hahaha! Come on, little bat. You are too scared. I just snapped my fingers."
Grititi gritted his teeth, feeling even angrier, but then he noticed something weird. Why was Rean here? Grititi was certain he was several kilometers ahead just a split second ago, so how did Rean approach him without him noticing.
Then, he looked around, and he saw that he was actually very, very close to the other groups he was pursuing earlier. How did he get so close to them? It didn't make any sense. "What is happening here?"
"Oh, nothing much. You were just locked in time, which was so slow that you might as well say you were not moving at all," Rean explained.
"Stop wasting your time, and let's keep going," Roan warned, and their group continued walking ahead, leaving a puzzled Grititi behind, who quickly caught up to them.
