After cleaning the crawfish heads and veins, Ye Xian began to heat oil in a pot, then added crawfish, thirteen-spice mix, onion, and rice cakes. She covered the pot and let it stew. Before long, a pot of colorful and savory thirteen-spice crawfish was ready.
Ye Xian sniffed it contentedly, her own stomach starting to grumble first.
She took down her phone, briefly edited the footage, cropped herself out, leaving only the cooking process, and then posted it.
This was the first video Ye Xian had uploaded to Doule. Originally, she just wanted to simply record a bit of her life, but to her surprise, Doule's official team must have thought her crawfish looked too delicious, or her copy was too much like the trendy "marketing accounts," or something, because under the guise of supporting newcomers, they generously promoted her video.
[Feeding the CEO Program? Another marketing account?]
[Mommy, I'm starting to binge-watch on Doule again.]
