" So you want to find your friends. What are their names again?"
James pulled out an old notebook from the drawer, opening the memo pad which recorded the names of the individuals whom he met before. That included all kinds of people and their alignments which were valuable information to them.
" Mobius, Sylvie, and Loki."
Before Arthur finished his sentence, Hope dropped the dishes on the ground. She didn't know about two individuals but Loki was different. In this Void, Loki's name was often associated with troubles.
" That is a bad idea. Every Loki I have met was a troublemaker. They wouldn't care about morality if they want to fulfill their goals."
James said with a pale face, rubbing his temple with stress because he didn't want to involve himself with one of the most troublesome individuals.
There were many kinds of individuals like mutants, Ultron, heroes, villains, and so on who were a bunch of assholes in his view but Loki was a special nutcase.
" Alright. Do you know his attire and his life signature? I don't want to meet the wrong one."
James asked politely which made Arthur ponder for a moment before he gave all the details to him. James quickly accessed the observation systems which he planted throughout the entire area, scanning for Loki who matched the description.
" Found it. Near 15 km from here."
Arthur looked at the notebook with an impressed face because he valued James's talent. He was able to build the internet in the world without any internet from scratch. He was talent worthy for his attention and he didn't know if he was James from his world.
" I am driving."
Hope took the key but before she could leave they were teleported by Arthur who used his power to warp there.
" I feel sick."
James clutched his stomach with a sick face, feeling nausea in his throat. Thankfully Arthur fixed him with his power as he looked at Hope with interest because she showed no sign of sickness.
It was like she was hiding something from him. Perhaps, she was much more powerful than he anticipated.
" I feel their energy. It is this way."
Arthur tracked their energies to the bunker near the hillside, looking at the hatchet with a frown on his face. He didn't understand why people were obsessed with the underground since they could hide on the ground.
" Should we knock?"
James asked with a calm face before Hope broke the door with her hands. She jumped down into the underground, and seeing a bloodbath inside it with her eyes.
" Who the hell are you?"
One of Lokis asked her before Arthur came crashing down with a cold face. He then turned around to see corpses lying on the ground with stab and magic wounds.
" Your worst nightmare."
Arthur grabbed one of Lokis, covering him with metal while binding every single of them with magic. He then pulled the chair toward himself, sitting on it with a serious face.
" Now tell me, you pieces of shit. Where are they?"
Arthur showed the image of Lokis to them while holding blades to their necks and nether regions.
" Wow, take it easy, fella. We don't know where they went except for them saying something about Alioth. I mean that is suicide right?"
The black Loki said with a wronged face, trying to slither away from the blades. Obviously, Arthur wasn't planning to cut them off, so he let them go with a warning. He didn't want to kill a bunch of losers who lost their ways.
" Now what? We can't go to it. I mean it will swallow us. Even the strongest beings couldn't survive it like Thanos or Ultron."
James didn't think it was possible to stop him but Arthur didn't think so. He felt what it was and what it could do from the first row. He was more like a natural force or phenomenon that was manifested from the will of this place like infinity stones.
" We locate it. They must have found a way to locate the person who is doing this stuff."
Arthur said sharply, knowing what was coming to him and certainly, he was going to punish the individual who created this.
" You are chief."
James smiled brightly, activating his hologram shield.
