Chapter 30 - Twisted Sister

(Open POV)

Townsville…

There is the city skyline under a bright sun and clear blue sky.

"The city of Townsville, on a sunny Sunday afternoon." The narrator said.

There is a man asleep in a hammock.

"The perfect day to put your feet up…" The narrator said.

A man and woman set up for a picnic. She is feeding him grapes.

"…have a picnic…" The narrator said.

A car is motoring along a road that parallels the beach.

"…take a drive up the coast…" The narrator said.

(Jared's POV)

Beach…

At the beach, people are sunbathing and playing. I'm busy lying down, sunbathing and playing Fortune Lover on my Nintendo Switch 2.

"…or just kick back, relax, and let all your troubles wash away with the tide." The narrator said.

"Jared!" Blossom said, angrily.

"Why aren't you helping?" Bubbles asked.

"It would be easier if you gave us a hint!" Buttercup yelled.

"Everyone is taking it easy. Everyone except for…" The narrator said.

"I gave you girls too many hints lately." I said, looking down at my Nintendo Switch 2. "Hmm. I might bring Catarina Claes and Sophia Ascart on adventures with me and the Doctor. They do love romance. Oh. Mary Hunt and Maria Campbell might like it too."

A tentacle snaps into my view, holding a screaming Bubbles. The owner of the tentacle is a large, brownish-green sea creature with a single red eye.

"...the Powerpuff Girls!" The narrator said, terrified.

Buttercup and Blossom fly in. Buttercup breaks the tentacle holding Bubbles, and both charge in to attack. Blossom smashes through the creature's midsection while Buttercup breaks its teeth and Bubbles hits it in the eye. I placed my Nintendo Switch 2 away, into my sling bag. Next Blossom knocked off one of the sea creature's fins, and all three closed in to deliver the finishing blow. The creature is knocked senseless into the air; when it hits the water, the splash covers me in the face.

"Thanks." Blossom said, sadly.

"Thanks a lot." Buttercup said, sarcastically.

"It's not a problem." I said, smiling. "I just have to keep it up. But for how long."

"Why didn't you help us?" Bubbles asked.

Bathroom…

I'm in the bathroom, taking a shower and the water continues to drain away as I'm almost done.

"Bliss. They just have to wait for Bliss. No wait. This is the original show. They have to wait for Bunny." I said, continuing to get myself wet under the shower head. "I like Bunny more than Bliss anyway."

Jewelry store…

There is a frightened man being held at knifepoint. He holds up a watch; I turned around to show the perpetrator - it is the Gangreen Gang, with Ace holding the knife and the watch. They laughed over their deed; then I turned around to look at ground level. Now I see Blossom's lower half from behind. She and the other girls make short work of the Gang and knock them flying.

"Jared, you didn't help us again. No hints." Blossom said, looking at me.

"Yeah. You usually give us a couple per day." Bubbles said, sadly.

"I know." I said, looking down at the ground. "Maybe you need some sugar, spice, and everything nice to help you."

"Sugar?"

"Spice?" Buttercup asked.

"And everything nice?" Blossom asked, tilting her head. "Are you talking about us?"

"Maybe I am. Maybe I'm not." I said, as the Gangreen Gang sailed away. "You'll find out. I promise."

Railroad bridge…

A train barrels along with it at full speed. The engineer's expression suddenly changes from calm to panic. Ahead of him, the rails have snapped. The girls fly-in, pulling ahead of the train, and place themselves in the gap to pull the rails straight. Bubbles get into position just as the train thunders over them.

"They're getting overworked." I said, as the end of the train passes with me invisible. "These need to pass by sooner so Bunny can be here. I want to met her so badly."

Townsville…

A window washer is doing his job on a scaffold high above the street. The ropes fray and break, and he plummets toward the ground; the girls dash in to save him. Blossom catches his abdomen, Buttercup catches his feet, and Bubbles catches his hard hat, which she places back on his head and they lower him.

Space…

There is a fiery meteor soaring through the sky. The girls fire their eye lasers at it, reducing it to pebble size by the time it reaches the ground in the streets of Townsville.

"There's the space one." I said, clutching the strap of my sling bag.

Forest…

A large grizzly bear rears up over a man and roars; the girls arrive, and Buttercup roars right back, even more loudly. The bear turns and runs, yelping, and the man and her sisters applaud her performance.

"The grizzly bear…" I said, letting out a sigh.

Townsville…

An armed robber with a sack of cash runs along the sidewalk as an alarm rings. He passes Bubbles, who trips him and sends the loot flying, and lands at the feet of Blossom and Buttercup. The former catches the money, and the latter thumps him under the chin before he hits the ground.

"There goes the robber." I said, sipping on a strawberry smoothie.

A hot-air balloon floats through the sky. It bursts; the girls turn around, alarmed. The balloon's basket falls, its occupant holding a teapot and cup and not seeming particularly distressed. Blossom dives in and catches the rig, and the remains of the balloon settle over the man as Bubbles and Buttercup watch.

Bank…

Buttercup throws herself on a bomb, which promptly explodes, "Jared!"

"Sorry." I said, looking down at Buttercup.

Townsville…

On a street, the Talking Dog sits in the path of a speeding car; Bubbles pulls him to safety.

Blossom saves a baby from a burning building and passes it to a fireman, "How much longer are you going to make us do all the work without helping us?"

"You don't need my help." I said, while the building was briefly engulfed in flames. "Everything is fine."

When the fire dies down, I fly up to the girls who are floating in midair and looking exhausted. Blossom's hair bow no longer stands up but seems to sag under its own weight. After a moment, the girls open their eyes in surprise.

"Does this look fine to you?" Blossom asked, as the city below us in utter peril.

"I don't think it does." Bubbles said, annoyed.

Most of it is on fire, a monster roars in the background, and an airplane crashes behind us. The girls sigh wearily.

"Like I said, you girls need some help. That isn't me." I said, still sipping on my strawberry smoothie.

Outside the Utonium Residence…

The girls and I float slowly inside through the bedroom windows with me behind the Powerpuff Girls.

"You girls have been like this for weeks." I said, looking at the Powerpuff Girls. "Doing everything on your own. Asking me for help. When you need help yourselves."

Girls' bedroom…

The girls crash out in the darkened room: Buttercup on the bed, Blossom, and Bubbles on the floor. The door opens, throwing a shaft of light across us, and the Professor pokes his head in.

"Hello, our little angels. Welcome home. Big day out saving the world with Jared? Oh, that's nice. But don't forget." The Professor said, and in rapid fire as the girls' eyes popped open. "Girls, you need to clean your room, wash the dishes, take out the trash, finish your homework…"

As the Professor continues, the hotline starts buzzing.

"…fix the roof, eat your dinner, clean your plates, sweep the floors, brush your teeth…" The Professor said, rambling on.

"He's going to keep it up for a while." I said, floating down and turning my form from ghost back to human. "Him wanting you girls to be the heroes you are."

"We know." The girls said, at the same time.

The hotline keeps buzzing and the Professor continues reeling off chores behind us as the girls address me and each other.

"I can't take this anymore." Buttercup said, moaning.

"Yeah, I'm Power-pooped." Bubbles said, wearily.

"I know we're overworked, with no hints from Jared besides him talking about us, but what can we do?" Blossom asked.

"Jared, we need to use your subtle hint. Argh! Why didn't I see it sooner? We need some help." Buttercup said.

"Yeah, three Puffs aren't enough. Jared, you, um, known for a while. You gave us all the hints we needed up to this point." Bubbles said, frowning.

"...answer the hotline, and save the world." The Professor said, still rambling on.

"I have. But this is your hint. Your real hint for this adventure. Make a new Powerpuff Girl." I said, looking at the girls as their eyes go wide, and we smile at each other as they like my idea. "Using what the Professor and I used to make you girls. Sugar, spice, and everything nice. I'm not telling you how we did it. You'll have to do it your own way."

Lab…

A door creaks open, and a rectangle of light appears outside. The girls' silhouettes and my silhouette are at ground level. The lights come on; we are at the top of the stairs that lead down into the Professor's lab. A quick shot from outside the house as Bubbles closes the window blinds, then Blossom looks up at the bookshelf, with a black book entitled 'How We Did It!' in the center. This is pulled down, a mixing bowl is set on the counter, and the book is opened to a page marked with a big X. This is Blossom's perspective.

"Now let's see. Jared, you and the Professor told us how you both created us." Blossom said, happily.

"I have." I said, and the bowl is in front of the girls and I. "Do you remember how it is done?"

"I think so." Blossom said, while she had the book. "The first thing we need is...sugar."

"I'll get it!" Bubbles chirped, dashing off to the left.

"Then spice." Blossom said.

"I'm on it!" Buttercup cheered, dashing off to the right.

"Next you need…"

Bubbles returns, holding a box marked 'Sweet Powder', "I couldn't find any sugar, but I did find artificial sweetener."

"It's okay, Bubbles. Artificial sweetener is a sugar substitute." I said, looking over the girls.

Bubbles dumps the powder in.

"Next, you need…" Blossom said, looking down at the book.

Buttercup returns, carrying what looks like a handful of lawn debris, "I didn't know where to get spices, so I got dirt and twigs and stuff."

"Dirt and twigs are used to make some spices. So it works. You can put it in, Buttercup." I said, looking over at Buttercup. "Nothing has changed from how I remember it so far."

"You have watched our adventures live on TV before." Blossom said, while Buttercup tosses in her load. "Now, next, you need…" She is lowering the book. "...everything nice!"

"'Everything nice'. That's something I helped the Professor with. Since I grew up around female cousins all my life. So it helped me figure out what I considered as 'everything nice'." I said, looking over at the Powerpuff Girls. "Go nuts, Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup. I trust you three. Completely."

All three brighten at this statement.

"Oh, boy!" The girls said, at the same time.

The girls fly out. Now they bring back various items one by one, dumping each into the bowl and dashing off again.

"Crayons are nice." Bubbles said.

"Books are nice." Blossom said.

"Lizards are nice." Buttercup said.

"I like flowers." Bubbles said.

"Computers are good." Blossom said.

"A football." Buttercup said.

"Stuffed animals." Bubbles said.

"A calculator." Blossom said.

"A mackerel." Buttercup said.

"More flowers." Bubbles said.

"A compass." Blossom said.

"Boxing gloves!" Buttercup said, excitedly.

"Ribbon!" Bubbles cheered.

"Art." Blossom said.

"Band-Aids." Buttercup said.

On the next round, the girls stop at the counter to stand next to me after throwing in their items.

"A smiley face." Bubbles said.

"A globe." Blossom said.

"A knuckle sandwich." Buttercup said, throwing a punch into the bowl.

"Okay. That's a lot of 'everything nice'." I said, laughing a lot. "It should be enough."

"Right." Blossom said, opening the book. "Okay, the final and most important step is to accidentally add Chemical X to the concoction."

Blossom lowers the book; all three look uneasily at me, then dash off one by one. Blossom walks back a moment later, carrying a flask marked with an X. The others return in time with their lines; all three girls speak in a stilted manner, like reading from cue cards as they try to act out what comes next.

"Oh, look at what I found, girls, Jared. Chemical X." Blossom said.

"Be careful with that Chemical X." Bubbles said.

"Yes, Blossom, whatever you do, do not drop that Chemical X." Buttercup said.

"Don't worry, I wo…" Blossom said, tossing the flask into the air; it falls into the bowl. "Whoops. I accidentally dropped the Chemical X, and it fell into the concoction."

"Oh, no." The girls said, at the same time.

The girls and I peer eagerly into the bowl; they see contents, bubbling and purple. A moment later, in the same manner as the opening sequence, an explosion fills the room and the girls and I are thrown across it to the far wall. We land in a heap, bathed in brilliant white light with our shadows looming huge behind us. The girls and I are dazed at first, but quickly snap back to full consciousness and gasp in shock.

"Finally." I said, looking at a snaggle-toothed mouth; a fat, hairy leg with one toe poking through a black shoe; an arm with a thick tuft of hair underneath and attached to a purple-clad body; mud-colored hair tied in a topknot; and a bulging purple eye. "I've been waiting ages for this."

The entire creature is huge, hunchbacked, brown-haired, and dressed similarly to the girls, with a purple dress and eyes. She is at least eight feet tall. Her eyes make a moist squelching sound when she blinks. The girls and I stand in her shadow, grinning nervously.

"Someone say something!" Buttercup said, under her breath, through gritted teeth.

"Hi! We're the Powerpuff Girls. And this is our friend, Jared." Bubbles said, motioning her head towards me.

"Hey." I said, looking at Bunny. "I'm their friend. And I love the Powerpuff Girls."

When the giant speaks, her voice sounds rather like that of a semi-articulate caveman.

"Powawulls?" Bunny asked.

"Yeah, we're sisters." Blossom said, happily.

"Sistahs!" Bunny cheered, picking the girls up in a crushing bear hug.

"That's right, you're our sister too." Blossom said, in a strangled voice.

"Sistah!" Bunny said, dropping the girls.

"Bubbles." I said, walking over to Bubbles. "Are you okay?"

"I, I think so." Bubbles said, rubbing her head.

"Yeah, I'm…" Blossom said, looking at Bunny. "...Blossom."

"Bubbles!"

"And I'm Buttercup." Buttercup said, smirking.

"That's Jared." Blossom said, looking at me, then back at Bunny. "And you are?"

"Blaaaah!" Bunny said, happily.

"Um, that's a little hard to pronounce. How about…"

Buttercup is looking up at the giant, who has a wide, open-mouthed smile, showing her messy teeth, "'Braces'."

"No." I said, shocking Buttercup, with electricity coming out of my body. "We're not calling her that."

"Buttercup!" Blossom said, irritated. "You deserve to be shocked by Jared!"

"Bubbles, got anything?"

"I do!" Bubbles chirped, squealing with delight. "I know! 'Bunny'!".

Bubbles begins to hop around the lab, chanting 'Bunny! Bunny! Bunny!' Blossom joins in, then Buttercup, and finally me. The giant 'Bunny' watches us for a while before starting to hop around and chant herself - out of rhythm, garbled, and landing hard enough to shake the room.

"Careful." I said, as the girls and I stop when Bunny catches up to us, but she keeps jumping even as the tremors knock us off our feet. "That was a bad idea. But I'm glad she liked it."

"Same." Buttercup said.

"Me too." Bubbles said, smiling.

"Okay, that's good. Okay, stop! Stop!" Blossom cried.

Bunny finally does so. I'm looking over at the girls. The scene is repeated, Blossom smiles raising her arm, Buttercup looking mad, I roll my eyes, and Bubbles rubbing her head.

"Good." Blossom said, and as she speaks, Bunny looks around the room. "Now listen. Now that you're a Powerpuff Girl, you've got a lot of responsibilities. Are you listening?"

Bunny is looking up, surprised, "Uhhh?"

"Blossom, why not tell her what she should do?" I asked, walking up to Blossom.

"Okay." Blossom said, while Buttercup and I were beside her. "Okay, it's your job to fly around and keep Townsville safe from crime."

Bubbles is on Buttercup's other side.

"And when you catch the bad guys, BAM! POW! You beat 'em up!" Buttercup said, excitedly.

"And then throw 'em in jail." Bubbles said.

"Anyone in orange are the bad guys. The guys in blue are the good guys." I said, looking at Bunny. "Throw the guys in orange in jail."

"Understand?" The girls asked, at the same time.

"Mmmmhmmm!" Bunny said, nodding.

"Good! Now go fight crime!"

"Criiiiime!" Bunny said, taking off and smashes a very large hole in the ceiling.

"Go, Bunny! Go!"

I looked up at the ceiling, into the sky, to see Bunny fly away from the house.

"Yes! Go, Bunny! Uh, go." The narrator said, woodenly.

(Open POV)

Sky…

Bunny flies along, singing the Powerpuff Girls theme, but having trouble keeping a level course. Blossom's words echo in her mind.

"It's your job to fly around and keep Townsville safe from crime." Blossom said, as a memory.

Bunny is smiling, "Huuuhhhh!"

An alarm goes off.

"Huh?" Bunny asked, cupping a hand to a misshapen ear to hear it.

Outside a jewelry store…

Its front window is smashed. Two masked robbers stand in front of it, sacks of loot in their hands. They are staring down the barrels of two police revolvers.

"Freeze! Don't make a move!" The cop yelled, standing next to his partner. "On the ground."

Bunny is standing behind them, watching the scene. Now Bunny recalls Buttercup's advice.

"And when you catch the bad guys…" Buttercup said, as a memory.

The cops are looking at the robbers as Bunny is thinking as she looks at the cops then the robbers. The robbers are now kneeling on the ground, holding up the loot in surrender.

"...BAM! POW!" Buttercup said as a memory.

Bunny has her eyebrows lowered.

"You beat 'em up!" Buttercup said, as a memory.

"Anyone in orange are the bad guys. The guys in blue are the good guys." Jared said, as a memory.

Bunny leaps in and deals several crushing blows - to the cops.

The cops collapse on the pavement, and Bunny lands on them. The robbers take their bags and flee the scene.

Jail cell…

Bunny stands over the cops, looking pleased. Now she remembers what Bubbles said.

"And then throw 'em in jail." Bubbles said, as a memory.

Now Bunny remembers what Jared said.

"Throw the guys in orange in jail." Jared said, as a memory.

Bunny flies out through a hole in the roof.

"Okay...well, that didn't go as planned." The narrator said, uneasily.

(Jared's POV)

Living room…

The girls and I are watching TV and laughing. We're watching episodes of the Amazing World of Gumball.

"You know what the worst thing is? This guy is a teacher." Darwin said, on TV.

"No dude, the worst thing is that this guy got two sweaters and he's not wearing either of them." Gumball said, on TV.

The Professor steps into our view, reading a newspaper, "What's this? No crime today, girls? Jared?"

"Oh, sure." Buttercup said, sarcastically.

"But don't worry, Professor." Bubbles said, happily.

"We've got it all under control." Blossom said, smiling.

"We really do." I said, watching what is happening on the TV. "There's no need to worry."

The Professor walks away, "Jared, whenever you say that, that's when we worry the most."

On the TV, the scene has Gumball and Darwin turn behind them. They see Carlton and Troy posing again. The same riff plays again.

"So. You thought you'd mouth off to coach about being more hardcore than us. You got some nerve, you neo-maxizoom dweebies." Carlton said, on TV.

"Okay, dude. First…" Gumball said, groaning and facepalms on TV.

The TV now shows Troy bumps his chest.

"Firstly, that's not what happened. And secondly how did…" Gumball said, on TV.

The Powerpuff Girls and I laugh again but are interrupted by a news report.

"We interrupt this program for an important news bulletin." The reporter said, on TV.

I'm watching the TV screen with the girls where the reporter - a Hispanic woman named Maria with brown eyes, brown hair and clad in an orange-red suit and a pale pink top - is at the news desk, with a graphic of the words 'NEWS BULLETIN' next to her.

"It seems one of the Powerpuff Girls has gone muy loco." The reporter said.

We see Bunny letting a group of prisoners out of a cell and throwing cops in.

"She's been releasing prisoners from jail, and imprisoning the police." The reporter said, as a voiceover.

People panic as prisoners run amok.

"Panic in the streets. Criminals on the loose." The reporter said, as a voiceover.

(Open POV)

Newsroom…

The reporter is being robbed by a prisoner that snatches her purse, "Townsville in much, much trouble."

The reporter's assailant waves to the camera.

(Jared's POV)

Living room…

I looked back at the girls, with me rolling my eyes.

"Bunny!" The girls said, at the same time, shocked.

"We've got to find her!" Bubbles cried.

"And fast!" Buttercup yelled.

"Jared, where's Bunny?" Blossom asked.

"Bunny's in Townsville. I think she's beating up a cop." I said, sadly.

"Right. Okay. Let's go!" Blossom said, angrily.

I changed my form from human to ghost. The girls and I take off.

(Open POV)

Townsville…

During the news report, the three criminals who impersonated the girls in 'Powerpuff Bluff' brandish weapons at the camera.

(Jared's POV)

Sky…

The Powerpuff Girls and I are in flight. As the Narrator speaks, Bunny is seen beating up a cop.

"Hurry, girls, with Jared, hurry! You've created a monster!" The narrator said, terrified.

Townsville…

The Powerpuff Girls and I land behind Bunny.

"Bunny!" The girls said, at the same time.

Bunny stops the beating, "Wha?"

"What have you done?!" Bubbles exclaimed.

"Bunny do good! Bunny do good!" Bunny said, waving her arms.

"No, Bunny do bad! Very bad!" Buttercup said, worried.

"Baugh?" Bunny asked, confused.

"Yes, bad. You're supposed to stop crime, not help start it." Blossom said, while she, Bubbles, Buttercup, and I looked down with our eyes shut. "I guess you're not cut out to be a Powerpuff Girl after all."

"No Powawull?" Bunny asked, crestfallen.

"No." The girls said, at the same time.

"No. I'm sorry." I said, guiltily.

Bunny's eyes tear up, and her mouth starts to wobble. After a couple of seconds, Bunny bursts into tears and takes off wailing indecipherably.

"Wait, Bunny, come back!" Blossom said, looking at her sisters, then at me, rubbing her own arm in regret and remorse. "Do you think we were too hard on her?"

"We were." I said, when the girls and I are surrounded by a group of prisoners. "Shit."

"Not as hard as we're gonna be on you!" The prisoners said, at the same time.

The prisoners lay into the girls and I and start administering a merciless pounding thanks to the numbers game being in their favor and preventing the Girls and I from fighting back. As the Narrator speaks, pull back out of the crowd and pan across the night sky.

"Oh, no! The girls and Jared are getting pummeled by every villain in Townsville!" The narrator said, looking over the water. "Oh, Bunny?! Where are you, Bunny?! Ah, your sisters and your friend need you!"

(Open POV)

Ocean…

There is a high outcropping of rock and turn up towards its peak. Bunny is crying and she is in fact seated on the rock, sobbing her eyes out in guilt for having messed up as bad as she did with attacking the cops instead of the criminals. She stops when the girls' cries and Jared's cry for help reach her.

"Bunny, can you help us? Bunny? Bunny, help us!" Jared yelled.

"Bunny, help! Help us, Bunny! Help!" The girls said, at the same time.

"Bunny, help us! Bunny, please!" Jared said, worried.

"Huh?" Bunny asked.

(Jared's POV)

Townsville…

"Bunny! Help!" I said, getting punched by a criminal.

The girls and I are still on the wrong end of the punching match.

"Help us, Bunny, help us!" The girls said, at the same time.

"Bunny, help! Bunny, help us! Please help us." I said, still quoting Amy when I was with her and Rory in Let's Kill Hitler.

(Open POV)

Ocean…

Bunny is now determined.

"Oh, Powawulls and friend need help!" Bunny said, floating off the rock, backs up to build a little steam, and races off toward Townsville to save her sisters and her friend.

"Go, Bunny, go!" The narrator cheered.

(Jared's POV)

Townsville…

With the best battle cry she can muster, Bunny plows into the crowd of prisoners like a purple bowling ball, catching them all by surprise as they never see her coming so they could defend themselves from her initial strike. She pounds down one after another and is finally seen standing atop a pile of them, all knocked out cold, senseless, and no longer beating up the other Girls and I, her arms raised in triumph.

"BUNNY DO GOOD!!!" Bunny chirped.

Bunny glances down at her tummy, then at her legs, which are beginning to wobble as a gurgling sound is heard, and the effect spreads upwards to her chest and shoulders. Her arms are next, followed by her face and head. Bunny looks back up, an unsure, worried look on her face. A hole opens above Bunny's belt, and a shaft of blinding white light emerges; the same happens to her shoulder. More holes appear in her foot, her arm, and her other shoulder, then all over her body. At roof level, there is a flash of light silently expands from the street below and engulfs the entire city.

The girls and I are knocked out on the pavement. The blast bathes us in an infernal glare, then fades. Normal street sounds resume as we come around.

"Wha...Wh-Wh-Wh-What happened?" Bubbles asked.

"Bunny did something good." I said, looking around the street, to see that it is littered with unconscious prisoners - this is the girls' and my perspective. "She did really well."

"She did." Blossom said, as she and her sisters are unaware of how, only moments earlier, the prisoners were stopped from beating us up further by Bunny and left to be placed back behind bars to rot for the rest of their sentences, never to know who it was that kicked their butts before she ceased to exist. "Bunny saved us!"

"She did." I said, sadly. "Bunny saved us."

"But...where is she?" Buttercup asked.

A scrap of purple cloth with a black stripe flutters down to the ground in front of us. The girls gasp in shock and sadness, realizing their sister is dead. And I looked down with guilt, knowing I couldn't stop it.

"Bunny!" The girls said, at the same time.

"Oh no! She exploded!" Bubbles cried.

"But why?" Buttercup asked.

"I guess she was unstable, and the blast broke her down into her original ingredients." Blossom said, sadly.

"She was good after all." Bubbles said, sniffling. "And we were the ones who were bad."

"Yeah…" I said, clutching the strap of my sling bag. "We were."

The Powerpuff Girls and I hang our heads in sorrow, and I looked up into the sky, knowing that the Doctor is watching in the TARDIS from above with an overhead view of the street, pulling back slowly.

(Open POV)

The background for the end shot comes up. Even the poor Narrator is so emotional over what happened to Bunny that he cries so hard that it takes several seconds before he can compose himself enough to get any words out. A rather depressing, slow, low-key version of the ending theme is heard.

The narrator is crying.

"Oh, it's so sad, I can't take it." The Narrator said, sniffling. "So, for the first and FINAL time, the day is saved…"

Bunny appears by herself in Blossom's pose.

"Thanks to Powerpuff...BUNNY!" The narrator said, worried.

"Powawull!" Bunny said, excitedly.

Following that, the Narrator completely loses all control and collapses into mournful crying as the words 'THE END' appear.

"Oh, why?" The narrator asked, crying harder. "Why?!" He cries. "Oh, go to a commercial!"

Goodbye!

We will see you again soon!
