"It was good, isn't it Dylan?" Lena whispered as she looked out, on moving landscape of city as Dylan drove through roads.
"What's good? " he asked, wanting her to open up.
"Being Drunk? " Lena said.
"Do you think Lena that to open up with me you have to get drunk? " Dylan said remembering how he has to coax her to stop drinking wine and giving warned looks to Stanley who keep pouring wine.
Lena remains silent.
"You are cruel to me Dylan .. You don't let me drink.. " Lena pouts.
A deep chuckle slowly left his chest.
"You are being cute Lens... You know why I don't want you to get drunk." He remembers the last time he had let her get drunk and Lena hides away in some stranger group, being all cute. To his luck, the group was of gentlemen otherwise he can't imagine what have had happened.
He parked the car and take out his phone to show her what had happened than.
Lena watched the video, refusing to acknowledge that it was her doing.
She grab his phone and toss it in backseat.
"look you are guilty conscious " Dylan grab his phone back and pinch her nose slighty.
"ahh" Lena wasn't ready for it but when she came to get her revenge he was already out and opening the door for her too.
Cool breeze takes away all the warmth of car and Lena shivers lightly. Dylan ever the caring one, quickly noticed it and help her adjusting her coat and muffler on Lena.
Lena climb up on the wall of lake and look ahead. On the shimmering Frozen lake was nothing but misty shine.
" Happy New Year Dear Capaldi. "
"Be Good to me. " Lena shouts out to the lake, wishing new year.
suddenly Lena lost balance and stumbled on the stone wall. Dylan quickly balanced her. His heart trembling slightly.
"Lena.." He was worried sick about her.
"Dylan catch me if you can. " Lena challenge him, almost running on wall. Dylan didn't wanted to reject her so he chased her on the paved pathway below. After some running on wall Lena jumped on path. His breath relax and he chased her truly. Almost catching up with her in a minute.
"You are literally death of me Lena " He whispers as Dylan catch her in his arms.
Lena was laughing now freely as if nothing happened before.
Cold air swift passed them, taking away all the troubles and worries of past week, leaving behind nothing but moments of memories in love.
Dylan felt her cold hand and hold them inside his pocket providing warmth to them.
"Did you have enough fun Lena ?" Dylan asked as they walk back to parking.. "

"Dylan tomorrow will be first day at NUC"
"Hmmm" Dylan shifted his gaze on her, taking in all of her expression.
"I'm afraid now, being in a place with all strangers , what if I do something wring? "
"So this was what troubling you tonight? " Dylan said softly as he squeezed her hand slightly.
"You have me, Dylan Al'Xander as your personal back up, just call me if you are afraid of something or have done some wrong experiments "
Dylan assured her.
"I will be there all day, just in different department sometime but you have got me totally wrapped up around your fingers. " Dylan was teasing her now. Lena smiles looking at him.
"Dylan"
"Gibbs will be there too. " He said again.
Lena nods in agreement.
" That's my girl, you are bravest of all. " Dylan was praising her as they reached the car.
The last night of previous year has passed away as if it was never there, never belonged to them.
The roads of Capaldi were busy. The Lorphs celebrating new year in their own ways. At the square, The huge screen was lit up with New Year wishes by King and Queen.

Dylan opens the side door for her as they parked inside the Al'Xander mansion.
"Happiest New Year Lena, Dyaln" his mother was first one to notice them as they enters the lounge.
"Happy New Year Mom Dad" Lena says abandoning him and running into arms of mom.
"Stay blessed love " His mother smiled and wished for her good health. But as realization drawn to her, her face show worries.
"You have drunk? " Mom asked, eyeing Dylan.
"Dylan forces me mommy. "Lena said teasing him as Dylan sits besides his father and greets him.
"Girl you want me dead before I got to see NUC. " Dylan said mockingly..
"I know my son won't do that love? " his father says, adoring him.
"Dad you don't have to side him openly. That's bullying. " Lena exclaimed.
They got some traditions of New Year.
All four of them tangled up in lounge and talked. Mean while the butler robot got a hang over remedie for Lena that mom forced her to drink.
They open the new year gifts before going to bed.
That night, Dylan felt he was luckiest man on Blue Plannet as he layed on his bed smiling.
