They all stared at the baby on the floor. She was once a killing machine but now... A baby?
"You and your tricks. As expected of the father." Luo Qing said with a frown.
The Father picked up the baby. He went to the edge of the island and threw her off it.
. . .
The crowd was baffled. Isn't this The Father? The man that was said to have risked his life thousands of times for his Daughter.
The Father drew his blade. The blade oozed with bloodlust. A sort of smoke surrounded it and oozed at of it.
The atmosphere became eerie, the faces of the crowd dropping. They weren't sure what was about to happen, but whatever it was, it wasn't going to be thrilling.
The crowd began to feel nauseous. They became dizzy and found it hard to get there bearings.
BLAAARGH!!!
A soldier threw up because of the nauseated feeling.
"I feel awful." A soldier said placing his hands on his belly.
"What do you expect? We are dealing with The Father. Most of his attacks are physiological and psychological. He is literally the worst person to be paired with in a fight, because even without cultivation..."
HRKKK—KOFF!
Liu Yu began to throw a coughing fit. She dropped to her knees, hands beating her chest.
KRUHHK—splurt!!
She began to vomit an excess amount of blood. Her eyes were blood red, the pain she was feeling apparent.
"What did you do to her?!!" Luo Qing shouted annoyed.
Liu Yu collapsed on the floor convulsing. A shiver travelled up the spines of the onlookers.
Luo Qing drew her sword. She performed a series of slashes going straight for The Father.
The Father, seeing the attack heading towards him didn't move, the swords weren't through him like he was even there in the first place.
WHOOSH!!
Dodging in the nick of time, Luo Qing managed to avoid a slash to her shoulders from the back. The attack however slightly chipped her ear drawing blood.
CLANG.
The sound tears through the stillness as Luo Qing launches forward, a blur of motion. Her blade screeches against The Father's in a brilliant flash of sparks.
She doesn't hesitate.
Slash. Twist. Strike. Leap.
Her movement is like fire — uncontrolled, dangerous, beautiful. She spins midair, delivering a crescent sweep toward his ribs. A footstep, and The Father is gone. No clash. No counter. Just absence.
"You think because I have less strength you can beat me. You must be joking." He scoffed.
She snarls, already turning, driving her blade.
CLANG!
He meets her. This time he didn't vanish.
His grip is steady. Too steady.
The force of the hit drove him back a little but he didn't focus on that.
He began to parry all her attacks with blunt precision.
Currently, there strength weren't much different. One was on 1 ding while the other was on 1.5 ding.
They were neck and neck at each other.
Luo Qing took a deep breath. She steadied her sword.
BOOM!!
Her speed increased drastically. She got in front of him on the blink of an eye. Her sword descending towards him.
The Father didn't blink.
He shifted half a step. That was it. Her blade missed by inches.
She followed with three more attacks — a hook, a spin, a downward slash fast enough to crack the stone under them — but it was like fighting a shadow.
No clangs. No sparks.
He wasn't blocking.
"Don't you dare look bored," Luo hissed annoyed at how all her strikes were fruitless.
She stopped.
THUD!!
She fell to her knees. Her breathing uneven.
She began to bleed out of all orifices. Fear etched itself into her eyes.
"W-What did you do to..."
THUD!!!
Before she could finish her words, she collapsed to the floor. Her body flat on the ground.
Shing.
The Father sheathed his blade.
"I guess I have won. You can now exit the island" He said to the remaining soldiers.
They were not about to disobey him. They picked up Luo Qing and Liu Yu body and whistled. Winged beasts came up and they mounted it and left.
The Father walked to a particular spot in the ground and knocked it. Immediately, the ground shifted and a lantern came into view.
He picked up, getting ready to explore the island.
WHOOSH!
All of a sudden, he saw a pinkish and whitish lasso or rope surrounding the lantern.
It was then yanked away from his hands.
He looked up to see the person that had a death wish.
His eyes met with a person clad in pinkish whitish armor which seemed real and unreal at the same time, he had a helmet on preventing The Father from seeing his face.
He held the lantern in his hands.
SWOOSH!!
Before The Father could say a word, he sped off.
"..." The Father blinked.
"***********. COME BACK WITH THAT ******* YOU SON OF A *****"
