"There is a possibility." Arthur said, his voice even, eyes narrowed thoughtfully. He measured each mage quietly, noting their posture, their hope tempered by caution. "Have any of you reached the touch of light?"
The mage who had spoken glanced quickly to his companions before returning Arthur's gaze. He lifted a palm, conjuring a small, unsteady orb of faint, trembling glow, barely enough to illuminate his fingertips. "I can produce some light." He admitted, voice carefully controlled. "Nothing refined. The others can summon sparks, brief flashes, nothing lasting yet. Still, it's more than most."
