Quentin Hargis walked into the garage, turned on the light on the garage's doorway wall, and pointed to a car covered with a tarp, "There's the car."
Luke walked over, ready to lift the tarp.
Suddenly, he felt a chill breeze behind him.
Luke had not fully trusted Quentin Hargis, and since entering the garage he had kept an eye on Quentin Hargis through his peripheral vision.
He saw Quentin Hargis pick up a baseball bat from a corner of the garage and swing it toward the back of Luke's head.
Luke, agile in form, quickly dodged to the side, narrowly escaping the baseball bat's assault.
Having missed the first strike, Quentin Hargis swung the baseball bat again, this time sweeping it toward Luke's body.
A longer reach gives a greater advantage.
Luke had strong combat skills, and if the other person were unarmed, at such close range, Luke would choose to subdue the person directly.
