Two days later and it was time for the First Year Seraphs to recieve their Spell Books.
They all arrived at the hall at the main Seraph Academia building. All First Years of each class were present.
Their homeroom teachers were all with them.
"Let's go." A wall in the hall opened up and a flight of stairs were revealed.
The students and teachers began to go down the stairs with the teachers staying in the front.
These stairs would lead to the underground room where the Well of Magic was located.
The Well being a source of raw magic was used to power the Academies, all three Academies in each nation had one. Although it wasn't easy to just come across one of these as they were extremely rare to find.
All the students finally arrived at the underground room in a circle and stood around the Well of Magic.
The Well of Magic looked like a small but deep hole in the ground. Every once in a while, some magic would bubble out of it.
The color of the raw magic was mostly a mix of blue and yellow with small tints of green and orange here and there.
The Teachers placed a load of books, regular empty booms into the Well and a purple glow came off it and blue smoke came out.
After that, all the books that had been placed into the well floated out except they now looked different.
The books were now more colorful, they all had different designs and colors and began to land on the students' hands.
But out of the 64 students present, six of them did not get any Spellbook which included Luz but that was normal as she was a Caster. It was rare but sometimes Seraphs wouldn't get Spellbooks but it didn't affect their magic in any way.
The Spellbook's only use was writing down spells they couldn't remember and that could be done with a regular book, it just wouldn't be as cool or flashy.
"Dangit, I didn't get one." Lucia was unhappy but Luz cheered her up.
"It's so... me." The book was a golden orange with yellow spikey lines along the sides and a white circle in the middle.
"Something that matches, something that suits, golden power, golden root."
A yellow glow came off the ground in front of Arina and a large root came out.
"Whoa."
"Cool."
Lucia and Luz rushed over to it and when they tapped on it, it gave them both a golden glow around their body.
As they laughed and played around, someone looked at them from a distance and showed an expression of shock.
"What! She shouldn't be able to use two types of Spell Magic." Adam thought and he was correct, only a few Seraphs could use two.
Adam walked up to Arina with a serious face. Upon seeing him, Arina deactivated the Light Root spell as he approached her.
All the students began to look at her direction, wanting to know what was going on and everywhere suddenly went silent.
"I challenge you to a fight!" Adam declared to Arina.
