Not wasting any time to reprimand himself for his mistake, Raphael carefully stepped back to pull himself from Laurus's blade. The Infinite Regeneration quickly healed his deep wounds, and then Raphael pointed his blade at him again.
To Raphael's surprise, Laurus did not seem to react to his struggle and just stood there with such confidence. He should have taken the opportunity to attack Raphael while he was still invulnerable, but Laurus's demeanor said that he was waiting for Raphael to make the first move.
