As Mo Fei plunged into the colossal black hole, darkness immediately enveloped him. In the rapid descent, he felt as though he had entered an unknown space, falling straight into the pitch-black depths of The Abyss.
Mo Fei did not employ any flight or levitation skills. His eyes remained fixed on the golden halo within the black abyss, letting himself free-fall towards the radiance.
Yet after several dozen seconds, Mo Fei suddenly sensed something amiss. The golden halo showed no sign of getting closer, as if he had remained stationary and hadn't moved even a fraction of the distance.
Even his Eyes of the Ancient Dragon could not discern the specific nature of that halo. This was extremely rare; Eyes of the Ancient Dragon were capable of penetrating any illusion, yet the golden halo remained indistinct and veiled, resisting clarity.
Mo Fei's heart remained unperturbed; there were only two logical explanations for this phenomenon.
