While Will was sleeping, in the middle of the night, something or someone had visited his dreams.
Will felt like he had woken up; however, all he saw was a white void. He could see nothing, hear nothing, and smell nothing. It was as if he were in a dream within a dream.
He knew that he wasn't dreaming because he couldn't feel anything. As he slowly began to realize what was happening, a figure appeared before him. It was a woman with long, blue hair.
Will exclaimed, "W-Whats happening?"
The woman smiled at him; her face seemed familiar, but he couldn't quite place where he might have seen her before.
"How are you feeling?" "Do you remember what happened?" said this mysterious stranger.
Will, still trying to figure things out, asked, "What happened?" "Who are you?"
This mystery woman looked at Will and said, "I am the Spirit of Life and Death in this world, but you can call me Launch."
"L-Launch!? This can't be right. "I must be dreaming." Will thought to himself.
Launch smiled and then said, "This isn't a dream; I simply took the figure of my favorite character in your novel."
"Wait a minute," Will replied in shock, "you read my novel?"
Launch smiled and laughed. "Of course, it was once one of the best novels out there."
Will was excited to hear that the spirit of life and death of all things was his fan, which boosted his imaginary ego.
"Did she want an autograph?" How will I write one as this spirit?" Will suddenly thought to himself.
"No, no, nothing of the sort; instead, I need your help with something very important." Launch suddenly looked serious with her sweet yet stern face.
Surprised, Will replied, "Of course, I'm always happy to help a fan!" thinking that this could be something similar to one of those legendary web novels out there.
Launch waved her finger at Will with her eyes closed, while smirking, "You must rewrite your novel; that ending was just awful."
"W-W-WAIT WHAT!" Will suddenly screamed as if he had a voice. "What the hell do you mean rewrite my novel?" "It was the perfect ending!" If Will had any feet at this moment, he would be stomping them right about now.
