"Governor," the white-haired butler reported to Charles, having seen it all at the pier, "Mr. Feierbahah has left. He walked into the sea alone, following that group of red sharks."
"Only him? What about his wife and children?"
"His wife and children are still on the island. After leaving the Governor's Mansion, Mr. Feierbahah didn't even return home and went straight to the pier."
Charles sat and let out a low chuckle, not even wanting his family, it seemed everything about him was a facade.
His wife, children, and the land and house that had been allocated to him, he didn't seem to have the slightest attachment to any of it.
"Who knows who sent this guy, what benefits they promised him—he doesn't want women, power, or money, so what on earth does he want?" Charles muttered to himself.
No matter what the origins of Feierbahah were, everything about him had come to an end; this crewman, who had been with Charles for five years, would probably never be seen again.
