Larissa saw right through him.
Her lips curved. "Why fix it?" she purred, drifting closer again. "I'll just ruffle you up all over."
She let her fingers trail along the edge of his sleeve—slow enough that the leather brushed her knuckles, fast enough to feel the thrum of Dark Aura under his skin. Delicious heat pulsed against her palm, the same greedy voltage she'd tasted in his kiss.
Allen's crimson eyes flicked down—catching the motion—then met hers with a look that was half warning, half spark. "You'd better not seduce me here, Larissa." His voice was a low, velvet growl that would make any lesser vampire fold on the spot. "You know how bad it'll get if I decide to screw you against these pews?"
Bad. He meant catastrophic.
