Dear Reader,
Thank you for being here….
Thank you for giving this small author your time to read this tale that has been stuck in her head for how many years. Thank you for being an ear—a friend—though we have not yet met.
I cannot promise that this story will be magnificent—one thing I am certain of is how much I am pouring my heart out on every line, every word, and every chapter of this story. If you are one of the few who have read the old version of "The Last Ballad of Olympus," I have revised the plotline and delved deeper into the concept of "gods living as mere mortals." Oh, how much I have wondered about this thought since I opened my Edith Hamilton book of Greek Mythology. I have adored Athena ever since and have been fascinated by her and Ares's rivalry. Somehow, with my then-adolescent mind keenly studying such stories from different authors, I noticed how their sentiments towards each other were similar to the modern trope "enemies-to-lovers". This is just my basic analogy, pillared by the many romance and fantasy books I have read. The deep loathing, competition, and jealousy—the evolution of their emotion engrossed me to the point I am inspired to write this story.
Once more, thank you. I greatly appreciate your support by sparing me some of your time to read this tale. I fervently aim to finish this story and wish for more inspiration to write and draw more!
Much Love from your friend,
Rosas Pandan
