"And Customer, the mother and daughter have voluntarily agreed to become sex slaves," the Slave Merchant continued smoothly. "Both are healthy and free of any diseases. In fact, Kunou has only just turned fifteen and is still a virgin. So this is the best deal possible, Customer!" he adds with a wide, perverted grin and then steps back, satisfied with his pitch.
If this were the first Slave Merchant I had dealt with today, then I probably would have screamed 'Yes' out loud multiple times by now. As even after dangling such a forbidden fantasy right in front of me, he just kept sweetening the deal.
As he finally stepped away, my eyes—almost involuntarily—drifted back to the pair of foxes.
Yasaka and Kunou stood silently with their heads bowed, their posture obedient and still. Though, I noticed something—Kunou's small, fluffy tail was twitching nervously behind her. Her golden ears drooped low, and a soft blush coloured her cheeks.
Did she overhear us? Is that why she is embarrassed? Or is it the presence of Anastasia that's making her squirm? I can't tell.
Still… What the actual fuck is this situation?!
I am being offered the chance to sleep with a sexy, voluptuous milf and her virgin daughter—and on top of that, it is completely consensual from both of them! The mere idea sounds so forbidden, so scandalously absurd that it is short-circuiting my brain!
This feels like one of those hidden camera prank shows, where someone's going to jump out from behind a curtain shouting, "Gotcha! Smile, you're on camera!" and start pointing to all the corners of the room.
Honestly, I even wanted to look around and ask someone—anyone—if this is even legal! Anastasia would have been my first pick, if not for the fact that these two used to be her servants.
My thoughts are spiralling because I can't fully believe this is real. I mean, this is the kind of setup you only see in porn. Like, the pair of twin sisters I found before, which already felt like I was cashing in a miracle. But this? This is on a whole another level!
A hot mother-daughter pair of fox girls—and not just any fox girls, but literal lookalikes of Yasaka and Kunou from High School DxD!
I won't lie—back when they were first introduced in the anime, I really thought the MC Issei, would add them both to his harem. It was the perfect setup! But nope, it never happened. And now here I am, being offered the chance to fix that mistake. To correct what the Oppai Dragon himself failed to achieve!
Like my brain knows that they both must have chosen this consensual Sex Slave path out of desperation... and I should feel bad... as it is surely a horrible thing. But that's not the organ that is dominating my thoughts right now!
I take a deep breath, trying to calm the storm of emotions inside me. I even force myself to look away from them—because if I don't, my mind will just keep running wild again.
There is still so much to take in and process here—I shouldn't be fixating solely on the whole oyakodon situation. I need to shift my focus to other things, like Anastasia, for instance. Strangely enough, she hasn't said a single word to me even through our party link yet.
Also, if I remember correctly, even Michio in the original story encountered a mother-daughter pair at the slave auction. So this might just be a fairly normal thing in this world. And now that I am in his shoes, I seriously can't figure out how he didn't fall to the temptation of buying them.
Maybe the pair he saw weren't nearly as beautiful as the ones standing in front of me? Or maybe… he was just a dumb coward who didn't have the guts to eat Oyakodon!
Anyway, now with a relatively calmer gaze and a clearer mind, I look over the pair again. But in the next moment, I realize there is no point in asking them any more questions right now. The choice has already been made, and lingering here won't change anything. I might as well leave instead of wasting more time.
"I see," I say with a neutral expression, giving a small nod before turning on my heel and walking decisively towards the door. I glance sideways and see that Anastasia is following silently behind me, her head lowered.
"Thank you for your time, Customer. I hope you choose to bid for them," the Slave Merchant says, bowing deeply with that ever-persistent merchant smile.
"Thank you, and goodbye," Yasaka says in a sweet, grateful voice, bowing with grace and her eyes gently closed. But it's clear her words weren't meant for me.
"Goodbye, mi—" Kunou begins to say, bowing too, though her eyes are locked on Anastasia's back. She stops herself before finishing whatever title she was about to say.
I notice Anastasia trembling slightly, but she still follows me without hesitation as we exit the room.
Once we are outside, I let out a heavy sigh and lean against the nearest wall, taking a moment to gather my thoughts.
First of all… Yasaka and Kunou are Foxkin. That's an entirely new race that didn't exist in the original story I was familiar with. Which means they likely have a new race-specific Job too. Right now, they are both just Villagers, so I can't tell what that class might be yet.
And then there is the bigger issue—their fictional origin. Back in my world, Yasaka and Kunou were characters from High School DxD. Yasaka was even the leader of the whole Japanese yokai faction, a very prominent and powerful figure. Kunou, her daughter, was weaker, but they were both still Nine-Tailed Fox Spirits—not just ordinary Foxkin like they are here now.
Of course, High School DxD was insane when it came to power scaling. Sure, the MC Issei had a joke reputation as the 'Boob Dragon' because of his obsessions, but the world was still filled with literal Gods, Devils, Dragons, Angels—entities who could destroy worlds like sneezing. I had even heard rumours of later arcs involving EXE-class beings from outside the dimensions, who made the rest look like ants.
So, if this world turns out to be tied to DxD… I am screwed. Utterly Dead. I might as well quit trying to be a hero, settle down with my harem, and pray I don't get vaporised by some cosmically pissed-off god.
…But now that I have spiraled through everything that could go horribly wrong, maybe I should consider the positive, too.
Like right now there is no solid evidence that this world is actually connected to DxD beyond a few coincidental faces. So until I see an Angel, a Dragon in Balance Breaker, or Rias Gremory popping out of a bush, I can relax. For now.
Still, another thought creeps in—Yasaka is a 29-year-old MILF… with a daughter. So that means she had a husband, right? A Foxkin father…
Did he die?
I know it's cruel, but—I kind of hope he did.
I should ask Anastasia about that. She must kn—
"Master."
Anastasia's voice cuts through my thoughts like a blade. The purple-haired beauty had approached quietly, now standing quite close to me, her blue-green eyes fixed on mine with a calm, determined gaze.
"You don't need to trouble yourself any further," she says with a quiet conviction. "Please… forget what I asked of you earlier."
"Forget what?" I ask, puzzled.
"It was stupid and selfish of me to ask you to buy my former servants," she said with a calm breath. "You must have noticed how they reacted to me… Yes, they used to serve me, but that's in the past. You already have so many talented people to choose from. There is no need to trouble yourself with them. I… I have already discarded that life. I shouldn't cling to them. I need to let them go."
She looked down, closing her eyes. Her voice was steady, but I could see her small body trembling slightly.
"Anastasia…" I murmured, pained to see her pretty face so sad.
"In fact, I am thankful," she said, her voice quivering slightly. "Thankful that my kind Master gave me the chance to see them one last time. I will pray that they too receive… s-similar luck as me." she adds taking deeper breaths as her thin body trembles.
"Anastasia," I say clearly, reaching out to steady her shoulders with my hands.
"Master?" Her eyes met mine again, blue-green and moist with unshed tears.
"I will buy them," I say, quietly but firmly.
"W-What? But you have so many other options," she replied, eyes wide. "M-Master, you really don't have to do it for me. I-I am fine, truly, please—"
"If they are important to you, then they are important to me," I said with a small smile. "And let's be honest, you wouldn't be able to stop worrying if someone else bought them, right? So the only solution… is for me to buy them."
I smirked as I said the last part.
"B-but—"
"Shh…" I gently cut her off. "I have already decided. So it's final."
Like I was ever going to let someone else buy a mother-daughter pair of foxgirls.
"...Alright, Master," she whispered, her voice touched, eyes shimmering.
I still had a lot of questions about those Foxkins—but now wasn't the time to bring them up. I can ask her later, once she was calm again.
"Okay, let's go and check out the last room," I said, trying to lift the mood with a bright smile.
Anastasia follows behind me obediently.
But that bright smile turns dark quickly, as I find that the last room was displaying a handsome male adventurer. Before the Slave Merchant could even finish his greeting, I turned around and walked right out.
"And with that, I think we have visited all the rooms," I said, looking back at the jam packed corridor.
"Shall we wait near the stairs for the auction, Master?" Anastasia asked quietly.
"Not just yet. I need to visit someone first," I replied, rubbing my chin.
"Who?" she asked, curiously.
"Just follow me," I said with a mysterious grin.
---
Some time later…
"Master, it looks like the Auction's about to begin. Look—people are already heading up the stairs," Anastasia said, pointing towards the growing crowd.
"Alright, let's join them," I said with a nod.
"The order has already been decided by a lottery. Please move to the hall as the Auction will begin shortly," a Level 8 Merchant had been announcing from the base of the staircase.
He must be one of the employees. The order probably refers to the sequence in which the slaves will be presented.
We moved with the crowd, me guiding Anastasia carefully and keeping her close to the edge of the stairs so no one would bump into her. The staircase ended at a short corridor, in front of which stood a large set of ornate doors.
"The order has also been posted inside. Please do not crowd the entrance and proceed into the hall," a Level 10 Merchant standing by the door announced loudly.
I could see a crowd gathered near the door, all clustered around a sheet of papyrus pasted on the wall. It likely displayed the order of the auction.
"Good, the Wizard's turn is at the end! So go ahead, folks—spend all your money before that!" The unkempt old man from earlier was among them, loudly cackling with a face full of glee.
Ignoring the noisy crowd—and the eccentric old man—we stepped through the large open doors.
Inside was a massive hall, almost like an auditorium. We had entered from an elevated level, looking down over rows of descending seats that led towards a wide wooden stage. A series of stairways divided the seating into four large sections.
"So this is the Hall for the Big Auction?" I muttered, eyes roaming the space. "No wonder the Quratar Merchant Building looked oversized from the outside… Most of that space must have been used to build this hall."
"It is also used for the regular daily auctions, Master," Anastasia added calmly, not the least bit surprised—she must have been here before. "Though usually, only brokers attend those."
I nod as I notice that the place was filling up fast. Judging by its size, the hall could easily seat several hundred people. But the front rows were already packed, and more people were still filing in through the door.
I glanced back and looked up, only to be met by a plain ceiling.
A bit disappointing, honestly. As impressive as the scale was, the design felt… rudimentary. No upper balconies, no secret VIP boxes behind tinted glass like the ones I had read about in the novels. Just a big, open, functional hall.
"Master, the list is posted over there on the wall," Anastasia said, pointing.
Sure enough, several sheets of papyrus containing the auction order had been posted in different spots around the room.
"Let's go and check the auction list," I said, moving toward one of them.
