"Talking"
[ Sytem Prompt ]

Altair was laying down on his sleeping bag. Around him were other students still sleeping, while some woke up early to exercise. He had blank look on his face, as he stared at the ceiling unmoving. On top of him laid Yang sound a sleep, wrapping her arms around his neck, drooling without a care in the world with a goofy smile on her lips.
The light from the rising sun cast over everything with a shade of blue, creating a scene just out of a blue period painting.
He wrapped his arms around Yang, and sat up. She stirred in his arms, but quickly settled with serene look on her face.
"Hey. I'm gonna go for a run. You wanna come with?" With a raspy voice, he asked Yang in his arms, who frowned and hugged him harder, her eyes still closed.
"Go...back to...sleep" Yang grumbled with hushed voice, trying to push him back down with her weight. Altair on the other hand didn't back down, as he remained sat firmly in place.
"No. You're coming with me. You're being too lazy" Against her wishes, he stood up, carrying her with him. Causing Yang to cry out an exaggerated "Nooooo" as she was carried by Altair together with their bags to the restroom. Separated restrooms of course.
Running in the morning was a routine Altair picked up when he was staying in the old cabin in Patch. He would wake up early in the morning restless, with nothing to do, he went for a run. And for the past two weeks leading to the admission ceremony, he's been running ever since.
Though Yang always grumbled that they should just relax, or spar in order to train rather than run. This earned her the privilege of being forced to run everyday alongside Altair, not that she complained about it.
After a few minutes, the two emerged from their respective restrooms, dressed in sports gear. Yang wore a yellow sports bra with black accents under loose white shirt, and a form fitting black jogging pants, with a hip cape that she normally wears. Proactive and but somehow modest.
Altair, on the other hand, wore a black compression shirt, clearly defining his swimmer type build, black jogging pants, and his black blindfold. Unremarkable, but somehow alluring.
"Looking good as always" Yang said, before purring. Her eyes were scanning his torso with a lewd glint. It was clear from her expression that she was enjoying the sight, something that left Altair somewhat speechless.
Letting out a sigh, he unzipped his bag, and took out a black windbreaker. He wrapped it around her waist, covering her backside. Yang smirked, as she pushed him against the wall with her hand planting just besides him.
Altair just got kabedonned. His face flushed, using his arm to cover his fsce.
"You're getting protective aren't ya" Yang said as she leaned forward, only to realize that he was much taller than her, and that she was just planting her face on his chest. Slightly irritated, she tried to push him down, only find it very difficult to do so.
They were locked in a stalemate. Not wanting to qaste time, Altair kabedonned her back, planting his hand besides Yang's head, while using his other hand to lift her chin slightly. A kiss found itself on her lips, which lasted a for about 5 seconds, before a voice interrupted them.
"YOU!... YOU DEGENERATES!"
Weiss stood on the side, blushing crimson, pointing at them, eyes wide open, slightly shaking, with her mouth wide open.
"Heh...how bold of you Al"
"Shut up"
"GET A ROOM YOU DEGENERATES!"

"Wonder what those two are so worked up about?" Ruby said, as she glanced at the two passerbys. She said as she opened her locker.
"Oh, who knows? So, you seem awfully chipper this morning! Isn't that right Al" Yang, in her regular clothes, turned to Altair with the same carefree smile on her face like she always have.
"Yes. She does seem more energetic today" Altair responded, as he entered a code to his own locker.
"Yep!" Ruby took out Cresent Rose out of her locker with an affectionate gaze, as she gently pats." No more awkward small talk or "getting-to-know-you stuff." Today, I get to let my sweetheart do the talking." She says as she lets out a gleeful sigh.
"By the way, I've never seen your weapon before Altair. Can you show it to me?" Ruby asked with an enthusiastic glint in her eye. Slightly excited to see the weapon he wielded.
"You know you're not the only one going through initiation today Ruby." Altair opened his locker, as he turned to face her.
"He's right you know. If you wanna grow up, you're gonna have to meet new people and learn to work together." Yang said, nodding her head in agreement.
A frustrated sigh escaped from Ruby's mouth. "You guys sound just like Dad!" She put Cresent Rose on her back strap. "Okay, first of all: What does meeting new people have to do with fighting? And secondly: I don't need people to help me grow up! I drink milk!"
"What about when we form teams?" Altair said as he took out [ Grand Cross ] from the locker.
(A/N: Yup not Cross Wing. But Grand Cross. I'll treat Cross Wing as an side arm for now)
"I don't know... I'll just joi–" Ruby paused as she laid her eyes on Altair's weapon.
"Woah. That's different" Yang was slightly shocked, but more so intrigued by the change of weapon. She was used to seeing Altair use [ Cross Wing ] during their spars, even his guns [ Cerberus ] and [ Minerva ], but this is the first time she's seen this weapon.
Ruby was just wowed. The sleek and gigantic cross intrigued her a lot. Plus her mind as an engineer was put onto full throttle as she saw saw the design. If it weren't Altair's weapon, she would've dismantled it by now.
"OHHH! WHAT'S THIS! IS IT A GUN?! IS IT A SWORD?! HOW DOES IT EVEN WORK?!!"
Ruby went up to Altair, jumping up and down, moving around him to fully appreciate the design of the cross.
"Okay sis that's enough. You still have to pass the initiation okay, so save your energy." Yang dragged Ruby away, pulling on her hood.
"Not very encouraging are you" Altair said as he took the strap attached to the cross. Wearing it like how someone would to a guitar.
"Just saying" Yang shrugged, letting go of Ruby, who still continued to look at Altair's weapon.
"Would all first-year students please report to Beacon Cliff for initiation? Again, all first-year students report to Beacon Cliff immediately."
Glynda's voice rang out. Opting students to go to the cliff. Students proceeded to go to the cliff, with their friends.
The trio was no exception, they immediately walked onward to the cliff.
"It was nice meeting you!" A red hair pulled her spear from the pall, releasing Jaune's hood, causing him to slump down on the wall with a deafeted expression on his face.
"Likewise..."
"You having some trouble there, lady killer?" Yang teased, before getting her ear pinched by Altair, who shook his head in disapproval.
"I don't understand. My dad said all women look for is confidence! Where did I go wrong?" Jaune let out a sigh, as Ruby offered him a hand. Taking her hand he stood up, confidence definitely sharted.
"Snow angel wasn't a good place to start" Altair said with a straight face, earning him a pinch to the side from Yang. It didn't hurt him, but it served as a remindee coming from her.
Yang just shrugged. "Wrong type of confidence. Just look at Al" she said pointing at him "He stays silent, but isn't meek or afraid to voice his opinion. That's the confidence most women are looking for".
Ruby shakes her head as she supported Jaune. "Come on, Jaune, let's go." The four walked on to the cliff, with one person that has a very damaged self-esteem.
