Chapter 55 - 31:

.

~Akihara Village~

.

Ryoichi stood before his office window, staring down at the bustling city. His eyes locked onto the retreating backs of spies sent by the Great Villages. Some wore blank expressions, others disbelief, and few even fear.

The reason behind such expressions? Ryoichi had decided to reveal some of the strengths of Akihara Village. He did so to make them aware of the village's existence and to warn them not to take it lightly.

Another reason for revealing the village's power was his plan to host the next Chunin Exams or perhaps every Chunin Exam from now on. He aimed to make this village a neutral ground, like the Land of Iron, and eventually turn Akihara into the very center of the world. Be it for trade or other reasons.

Initially, Ryoichi had wanted to wait, to slowly plan everything and take advantage of the upcoming Great Shinobi Wars. But that changed after his return from the future.

With his strength and that of his subordinates greatly increased, he decided to speed everything up and not waste any time. He already had access to all the resources this world had to offer. The knowledge he acquired from the future made resources beyond this world attainable as well; he only needed to create warp drives to reach them

As he sank deeper into thought, Mirai spoke.

"Are you sure, Master? Is it truly wise to reveal our strength to the world?"

Her soft voice pulled him from his thoughts. He turned to look at her.

"Wise?" Ryoichi repeated, pausing as if tasting the word. "Nothing is wise everything is relative. One can only act on what gives them the most benefit with the least setbacks."

Mirai nodded at his words, her mind drifting into deep contemplation.

Ryoichi looked at her and nodded. He truly believed what he said. Nothing in this world or any other is absolute. Good, bad, wise, stupid, funny, serious everything is relative. One might believe fighting for their country is good, forgetting the enemy is also fighting for theirs. How can one side be right and the other wrong?

It's the same with decisions. What one sees as wise and smart, another might call foolish and arrogant. In this case, Ryoichi saw his actions as efficient but many would call him stupid and hasty. But did he care? No! He knew his own strengths, and the strengths of every major power in the Elemental Nations. None could truly harm him or his interests. They might try to cause some damage, but it would be minor skirmishes at most to gauge his strength.

Time passed slowly, and just as Ryoichi had predicted, the other villages reacted similarly. They tested Akihara's strength, whether by attacking shinobi on missions outside the village or targeting their businesses but every attempt failed. The more they tried, the more they realized the depth of Akihara Village's power. And the more frightened they became.

Within just a year, the Great Villages stopped harassing Akihara and began avoiding any confrontation with them. During this time, Akihara also hosted the Chunin Exams. All of the Great Villages and even the smaller Shinobi Villages joined the grand event, making it one of the most significant in the history of the Elemental Nations.

A total of ninety-eight Genin were promoted to Chunin, each rewarded with a custom-made weapon and armor.

The winner of Event A — the son third Raikage also received a special reward—a serum that plunged the entire event into chaos. A was given a Chakra Expansion Serum that increased his total chakra reserves by ten percent.

At first, no one believed the announcer when he handed over the serum. But when the hot-headed child swallowed it abruptly, they had no choice but to believe. His chakra reserves increased by ten percent almost instantly, right before their eyes.

The audience's minds went into overdrive as they processed the situation. Once it sank in, they erupted questioning the announcer, demanding answers. When the announcer said nothing, they began threatening him.

Even the Kages of the smaller villages joined the Five Great Kage. An alliance of the entire Shinobi world formed instantly without any discussion or demands. Something so unique, it might never happen again.

The pressure on the announcer mounted but he didn't fold. Not because he wasn't afraid, but because he had faith in His Excellency. That faith was not misplaced.

Ryoichi soon appeared, suppressing the entire Shinobi world. After doing so, he announced the end of the Chunin Exams and requested that the attending Shinobi Villages leave as quietly as they had arrived.

They wanted to retaliate, wanted to refuse. But not one did not after being so thoroughly suppressed that some felt like questioning their life and their skills as Shinobi.
