Adrian Desmond pulled Sienna Johnson out of the hospital, his mood far from calm. Sienna, having just learned she was pregnant, was even more distraught. While descending the steps, she didn't pay attention and fell straight down.
"Ah...my child..." Sienna instinctively protected her belly, trying to curl herself up to protect the child within. In a split second, Adrian, with his quick reflexes, caught her.
As their eyes met, Sienna's gaze was no longer empty; it was now filled with numerous emotions. Adrian squinted slightly, his eyes as sharp as knives.
"Didn't the shock make you stupid? Have you been deceiving me all along?"
Sienna lowered her eyes and turned to stare at the streetscape, refusing to answer him.
Adrian snorted coldly, "Mai, tell me honestly, is the child mine or Xavier Young's?"
