Eric Candi didn't say a word.
He just felt that Trenton Smith's visit was too sudden, and he was completely unprepared.
He should be the person in the world most eager to bring Aldana Candi back. He personally pushed her into hell, yet he lacked the power to pull her out.
Aldana Candi disdained to hate him, yet he couldn't forgive himself.
Seeing his silence, Trenton Smith put the coffee cup on the table, stood up from his chair, smoothed out the wrinkles on his trench coat, then strolled outside.
Eric Candi walked over and grabbed his wrist; Trenton Smith turned to look at him.
They were about the same height, standing face to face with their own thoughts.
"I'll go," Eric Candi said, "When can you get ready at the earliest?"
Trenton Smith looked at him, then let out a low chuckle, "Strike unexpectedly, catch them off guard, whenever you think it's good, it's good."
