Long ago, Kai Syaoran was taken from his home in the Endless Forest and sold at auction. The ones who captured him were the Money Seeking Bandits, and the auction that sold him belonged to the Huang family. Kai Syaoran ended up being sold to Huang Biren, the daughter of the auction owner. This all happened in the lower realms, when Kai Syaoran was still a helpless white wolf with no power to speak of. He was all alone in the world, but Huang Biren turned out to be different from the other humans as she treated him very well, even though he was nothing but her pet.
The two had gotten closer, and their friendship had grown over the years. Even after Kai Syaoran ran away from the Huang family, he still thought well of this young girl. He at first thought that he had some kind of mental disorder, but he later realized that Huang Biren had truly been genuine in her treatment of him.
