Thomas Shannon didn't seem too interested. He closed his eyes again. "Barely acceptable."

A knocking sound came from outside the door.
Minimus Hart's voice followed. "Young Master, may I come in?"
Sophie Sullivan's blood boiled. Itching for a fight, she jumped off the bed, went to the sofa, and sat down. "Come in."
As Minimus Hart pushed the door open, she saw the maniac sitting on the sofa. From the corner of her eye, she saw Thomas Shannon lying on the bed. She vaguely sensed what was about to happen.
She started towards Thomas Shannon but was stopped halfway by Sophie Sullivan. "Minimus Hart, come to me."
