in an arcade a guy is seen playing a video game called lecro. Until he was about to get to the final level, when he died at the last boss and could not get the highscore. He then began to wallow in sadness until someone came to cheer him up saying "Well at least you got second this time".
At the sight of seeing he got second he then began to cry even louder and left the arcade in sadness. When he reached home, he was really depressed and no longer wanted to stand up or do anything. He then began to sob while holding his black cat (Vermil) until he eventually fell asleep slowly .
When he woke up, he saw that 3 days had passed and he missed his usually arcade visits. He then checked the time and saw it was very late so he headed to the arcade. He played nonstop until, he suddenly stopped. He clearly did this out of pure exhaustion and at the end he still did not get the high score. He then went to a bear shop and drank till his hearts content at the bar inside the arcade, though he never got drunk.
The bar only sold bear in the backroom which was for adults only. He then sat on a chair, and a man clad in a black suit with a moustache and grey hairs welcomed him whilst giving him beer. This man's name is Sir Marvin and they are paternal cousins. Sir Marvin then asked whether he's out drinking because, he couldn't finish the stupid video game. He then sighed, and said that he wanted to stop playing but, the game was the only thing that makes him want to get up in the morning. He then began to rant about how he could not stop and how he has been playing the game ever since they were kids.
The bartender then told him that no matter what he does he will never finish the game and it will end up consuming his life and leaving him to die unfulfilled. He began to left In denial saying that he's wrong and that he is going to finish the game no matter what.
He then went to the arcade and spent a lot of money and kept on playing day in day out.
Until one day he finally beat the final Level. He then became Exited but, could not express it and just fainted. When he woke up everyone had left him in the arcade alone with only that game which still had a lit screen. He then read a message on the console that said " You are the chosen one, the current holder of the highscore. Press the red button to claim your reward".
He then began to slightly panic but, in his panic he fell down and accidentally hit the red button. In the whole climax he was transported to a room along with other people who had names floating above thier heads. He recognised some of the names as people who had the all the highscores in the game.
