The explosion also created massive waves of wind, blowing away the purple smoke that was covering the battlefield.
After a while the explosion died down as the the ashes of the burnt kiri shinobi from the sky tumbled down.

Mitsuaki who could finally speak due to the clearance of smoke, witnessing his squad burnt to ashes couldn't control his anger, yelling at Naoki, his pale face changing to red from anger.

"Save your words! At your rank you should be long aware if you try to kill, then be ready to be killed!"
Said Naoki calmly, removing the gas mask from his face, throwing it away.
Naoki's words helped Mitsuaki back to calm, letting out a deep breath to clear his head.
"I don't know how you did that and I don't expect to get an answer from you"

Clearing his head Mitsuaki spoke in a lot calmer tone, Naoki raising his eyebrows to his words.
"But I do know whatever jutsu you used, it doesn't work if you coat yourself with chakra!"
"Probably that's why you couldn't cut me like others the first time, I hadn't dodged then!"
Naoki didn't say anything in response to his words and just reached into his ninja bag with his right hand, though inwardly he was noting his every word.
This was actually the first time Naoki had ever used his ability in a real fight, even he didn't knew that there would be such a counter to it.
But thinking about it, this kinda made sense to him, Haki was able to neutralise devil fruit ability so chakra probably had the same function in this aspect.
"But how do I counter back at this then? It's is a very big weakness!"
Thought Naoki with a concerned look in his eyes, his mind working at light speed to think of a way to counter this weakness.
"Wait...
His mind at the battlefield seemed to work even faster, Naoki suddenly thinking about a very crucial point.
"As haki can defeat haki if one is stronger then the other, it should be same for chakra!"
"Instead of physical energy, I should utilise devil fruit through chakra, but...right now it's not possible!"
A regretful look appeared on Naoki's face as he came on the conclusion, the poisonous smoke had made it somewhat difficult to utilize chakra and on top of that with his pitiful chakra he won't be able to drive his devil fruit for half a minute.
So now he had to defeat the opponent without any way to counter back at his weakness.
Seeing Naoki with one hand holding the sword and other in ninja bag, standing still for a few seconds Mitsuaki didn't blindly choose attack.
His body was tense and his senses were on full alert, watching out for anything out of his cognition.
Understanding this fight was probably not going to be a cake walk, Naoki without any anxiousness accepted the facts.
Having died once already that resulted in his transmigration, he knew that the worst that could happen to him is death and that was something he didn't fear anymore after experiencing it already.
This had resulted in him possessing a strong mind and always staying cool-headed, not letting emotions interfere with the decisions that had to be made on the spot.

With nothing else to do then to fight now, Naoki quickly pulled out a handful of shurikens from the ninja bag and whizzed them towards Mitsuaki.
Mizu no Yoroi (Water Armor)
Normally Mitsuaki would have chose to just simply dodge the shurikens, but the strange jutsu of Naoki upped his cautiousness, making hand signs as quickly a thin layer of water covered his body completely sparing the head.
Now covered in armour, Mitsuaki did some quick movements easily dodging the shurikens as they all flew pass him without making a scratch.

Just as Mitsuaki dodged the last shuriken ducking, as it flew over his head something out of ordinary happened.
The shuriken over his head suddenly disappeared as Naoki appeared in it's place, the blade swung downward at Mitsuaki.
Mitsuaki who was keeping an eye on the shuriken over his head from the corner of his eyes, just in case it had a string attached to it, had his eyes widened at Naoki appearing.
The reaction time was even less then a second, the tip of the blade easily cutting through the water armor and drilling into the right shoulder from above
Boom!!

But the moment it could completely cut through his right shoulder, like earlier blue chakra burst out of Mitsuaki as the blade was blown back along with Naoki, Mitsuaki also appearing at some distance, blood dripping down his right shoulder, a deep cut on it.
