Yan Fei's body was also injured during the recent attack; however, the laser beam had pierced through his body without causing lasting harm. Thus, Yan Fei was able to continue flying upward in his battle armor, while the "life force" within him operated rapidly, allowing his injuries to fully heal in a short amount of time.
The Ancestral Land and Mechanical Monkeys were terrified that Yan Fei might throw another nuclear bomb, so they desperately pursued him from below, leaving no time for him to catch his breath. Fortunately, the laser weapon used by the Mechanical Monkeys had a major flaw—it couldn't attack while moving at high speeds—so Yan Fei and his battle armor avoided a second attack.
