Wyatt Perry didn't even give the President the courtesy of a face-to-face meeting, bluntly declining: "Claudia wants to see the children, I'll take her back to see them first, and we can go to the Capital after a while."
On the other end of the phone, Tabby Teller was silent for a moment before responding: "Okay, take good care of Claudia."
"Mhm, I will."
After hanging up, Claudia Ross lazily asked, "Was it Nana?"
Upon hearing Wyatt Perry mention the Capital, Claudia's first thought was of Nana Monty.
"No, it was the President."
"The President?"
Claudia suddenly opened her eyes wide, only then remembering that she was supposed to meet the President in the Capital, but then she was put into a coffin, buried alive, and later sold to Slan Country.
She hadn't even met the President yet!
Wyatt Perry patted her shoulder: "We'll meet him later, no need to rush this moment."
