"Driver, I can't keep waiting here stuck in traffic. I'll walk out myself!"
Su Liuying watched as time ticked by second by second, the car still stuck, and inevitably started to grow anxious.
The driver glanced at her and replied helplessly, "Miss, if you're in a hurry, that's the only option! No telling when the road ahead will clear!"
"Driver, here's the fare!"
Su Liuying took some money out of her bag and handed it to the driver. He reached out to take the fare and said, "Sorry! Couldn't get you to your destination!"
"It's okay, no worries!"
"Be careful walking along the roadside!"
"Okay! Thanks!"
Su Liuying waved goodbye, got out of the car, glanced back at the long line of cars behind, sighed, and started walking along the roadside toward the intersection.
After walking for about ten minutes, Su Liuying noticed the cars next to her began moving. She looked up and realized the intersection was clear.
