The movie ended, and Su Liuying followed the crowd out of the cinema. She looked up at the starry sky; the bright moon high above cast her lonely shadow. She had become accustomed to Quan Tianyou's company, and without him by her side, she felt somewhat pitiful.
Sighing, she hailed a taxi, sitting inside with a desolate expression. It turned out that loneliness was this frightening, yet she had to endure it.
"Miss, you're here!"
The driver saw Su Liuying sitting in the back seat without responding, so he had to call out loudly again, "Miss, you're here!"
"Huh?..."
Su Liuying snapped out of it, quickly handed the fare to the driver, and got out of the car. Instinctively, she looked around but didn't see Quan Tianyou's car. Perhaps he hadn't come to find her, just called her instead!
"Sigh..."
Su Liuying sighed, turned, and walked toward the stairway. The streetlamp stretched her shadow long, making her solitude even more apparent.
