[3rd POV]
As Gwen was teleported off from her office, disappearing within a flash of light, whisked off to another multiverse, her clones around the universe got back to work, as they continued to focus on recruiting mutants from around the multiverse.
They had recently begun to recruit more...interesting mutants, ones like alternate universe versions of Peter Parker, alternate spider-men and women that were mutants in their realities, a lot of them denied the recruitment in favor of staying a hero on their own world, but a lot had also accepted, opting to move with their loved ones to a new world to live peacefully.
Gwen wanted more spider people in her city, mostly for their connection to the Web of Life and Destiny, and their potential as protectors of the city should anything happen in the future. It was due to this that some of the spider people began to get trained in honing their spider senses to levels that would allow them to even see the attack before it had even happened, an ability that would become a great boon for her city in the future.
She was also interested in connecting her city to the other multiverse, more specifically Earth 928, where the Spider people's primary base was, and where they did all their work from. As working with spider people from around not only one multiverse, but two, could prove to be quite interesting.
She planned on eventually making a fourth city that would house a mixture of species. And would be focused more so on recruiting geniuses from around the multiverse, like alternate Reed Richards, alternate Tony Stark's, and many many many more.
Her city already housed several Reed Richards variants, several Tony Stark Variants, and several other variants of well known geniuses, but she needed more if she wanted for them to improve rapidly on their own, without her own impossible intelligence.
Not to mention magical beings that she wished to recruit, like variants of Doctor Strange and several other magic users that could prove to be an even bigger boon to her cities than geniuses like Tony Stark or Reed Richards.
At the moment Gwen was crawling along the roof of the building she had appeared in. A building that she recognized as the primary base of the spider people on Earth 928, where hundreds, if not thousands of spider people all gathered in order to stop anomalies, and to keep "canon" in place.
She had a few ideas about what this "canon" was, and why going against it seemingly caused the destruction of that universe. Amongst them was that this was not, in fact, caused by such a thing, but was instead Spot doing it. And that it had only happened twice now, or perhaps if it happened more, it was some sort of domino effect amused by Spot.
Spot's powers were related to dimensions and the multiverse after all. So she could see it being caused by him, perhaps his powers could cause ripples not just throughout the universe, but throughout time as well. His senses had grown enough that it might also be something he had knowingly done to the Spidermen and Women.
Gwen wasn't entirely sure, she would need the data that the Spider People had gathered in order to really know for sure. As without data, she was going in blind, even with the knowledge she had in her skull.
If it was something caused by going against this "Canon" it should be easy for her to develop technology that can stop the destruction of these universes, saving not only the lives of everyone in that universe (and more should it start a toppling effect) but also save the lives of the ones that originally would have to die for "Canon" like in the case of Miles's father.
Either way, Gwen was going to help Miles. The fact that a bunch of spider totems were really going out of their way to stop Miles and other spider people from saving the lives of their loved ones, pissed her off to no end. Especially the Peter Parker part of her, who would do ANYTHING in his power to save the lives of everyone.
He would never sacrifice the lives of the few to save the many, for he wouldn't let it happen at all. He would go against the very will of the Universe itself in order to save everyone, as that was simply the type of person Spider Man was. And it was because of that that Gwen found the mainline 616 Spider Man to be one of the greatest heroes in existence, up there with the likes of The Doctor, Superman (more so for what he represents), and several others.
She couldn't wait to punch Miguel in the nose for the way he was going about things. And she couldn't wait to grill Peter and her counterpart for willingly being a part of something like this.
'This entire situation doesn't make sense. The multiverse wouldn't be able to function properly if EVERYTHING had to adhere to this canon. It would eventually run out of control and just fall apart. The multiverse is infinite in size, meaning there would be infinite universes out there with infinite amounts of things going against this "canon". It's functionally impossible for this to be the cause of all of this' Gwen thought, knowing that it simply didn't add up.
Infinite universes = Infinite Spider People which would then equal = Infinite "Canon's" which would then equal = Infinite possibilities for something against this "Canon".
It literally wasn't possible, statistically and realistically.
'Once I've got the data in hand I'll know for sure what's happening. And then I'll be able to stop it...hopefully' Gwen thought, as she continued to crawl across the roof of the building, growing closer to where Miles and the others were at, likely giving him the speech on why he shouldn't save his own damn father.
Insane, simply insane.
Crawling along the roof, Gwen grew closer to the talking, as she began to hear the voices of Miles and her younger counterpart. Not only that, but she noticed a growing crowd of fellow spider people, ranging from big to small. Some of them being the size of someone like the Hulk, to the size of a dog, some were quite literally animals.
'Huh...some of them are stronger than I was expecting. Weird that they never showed any of that in the movie' Gwen thought, noticing that some of them had powers well beyond that of a normal spider person, like magic that gave them power on par with a sorcerer supreme,
None of them were as strong as her or anything, but she could tell that some of their powers would be annoying should they get into any sort of fight. She didn't see a reason as to why they would, but she knew that Miguel O'Hara was...not exactly the most agreeable person in the world, and it was very likely that he would try and stop her from doing anything about the whole canon thing.
Continuing to crawl alongside the roof, Gwen eventually stopped above the group, and listened in as they argued about what to do. As Miles obviously didn't want his father to die, and Miguel didn't want the universe to end.
Seeing as how this likely wouldn't be going anywhere, Gwen stretched slightly, before dropping to the ground, still invisible as she walked over behind Miguel, to where monitors showed various events that had been occurring in the past few days, before turning back, and plopping down in his chair, and speaking.
"You know, you guys really are shit heroes, aren't you?" Gwen's voice cut into the atmosphere, as eyes widened, and heads turned. Miles's eyes widened in surprise, before a bright smile formed on his face as he looked at the one that had helped him be a hero.
"Gwen!" Miles exclaimed, as her counterpart looked at her with wide eyes, others joining her in shock as she looked at Miguel with a hum, before speaking.
"So...let's talk, shall we?"

That's the end of the chapter!
Next chapter is when stuff will really start to go down, as this was basically just some thoughts and stuff. Mostly because I was struggling with my idea for this little mini arc, but I've got it now so the next chapter will be a lot better.
Anyways, have a good day!
