The idea of having a soul is not applicable to Revenants. Although they possess intelligence, can think, and even exhibit little difference in behavior compared to when they were alive, such beings truly do not possess souls.
Furthermore, Revenants are the only beings able to enter and exit Hell at will, but this is not a good thing. It means Hell ignores them and doesn't care about Revenants, as does reality.
