I pushed the curtains aside to look outside. The city is in chaos, explosion everywhere, dark smokes going up, fire, buildings crumbling to the ground one by one.
"The plan is going well indeed guhehehehe" my ability said with a laugh
I have never seen anything like this before. It is like an apocalypse or something. I touched my sheathed sword's hilt and turned around.
"Hey Attorney Antonio, do you even think we can survive this?" I pointed outside with my thumb
He played with the card on the table.
"Why are you asking me? Ask your ability"
"If you're smart enough, you can survive. And don't worry because WE ARE the one who are causing this" a voice
It came from Santos who was sitting on a chair on the balcony outside, smoking cigarettes alone.
"How many times I told you Santos, stop wasting cigarettes" I shouted
This guy is really emptying all of the packs I have. Why won't he get his own.
"Relax Leonardo. The city is in ruins. No one is stopping us from getting another pack"
I sighed and looked to the left, Emmanuel is on his phone. On his other hand is a long chain, leading to a girl's collar crouched on the ground. The girl is sobbing and crying, trembling.
"Kid, how are you holding up?" I asked
"Doing pretty good" he replied
Emmanuel put his phone to his side and looked to the girl.
"What now bitch? So quiet now"
"Please, just let me go. I'm sorry" the girl replied, sobing
"Do you think I would forgive you after what you've done to me?"
He leaned his face near to the girl.
"No"
The girl got angry and spat at him, Emmanuel tilted his head. The spit splattered to the wall.
"Oh, is that how it is eh? Actually, I have a confession to you. That boyfriend of yours Tomas, I killed him!"
The girl got terrified, her eyes widened.
"No, no you didn't!"
"I even have a video of me killing him in my phone. How did I kill him?"
He made a slashing motion on his neck.
"I beheaded him! Hahahahah! You wan't to see it!? I was laughing while carrying his dumbass head"
The girl cried even more. Emmanuel spawned out a long sword on his hand. It was a sword of a knight, it wash sharp, there are still bloodstains in it. His ability.
"I killed him with this sword you know. I think this is his blood, this one right here"
"Yes indeed, he killed him" the ghost from Emmanuel
"You monster!"
Emmanuel stopped laughing in an instant and pause, he gave the girl a sharp surprised look.
"Did you just called me monster? Don't you realize what you and the others did to me? I actually remember a lot, stuffing me in a locker, following me and beating up which lead me to the hospital, embarrassing me at school, destroying whatever I have, actually, there's a lot more"
She gave the girl a strong slap, leaving a red mark on her left cheek. It sounded like a stick snapping.
"Don't you realize what you've done to me! Don't you see how much I suffer!? I am just trying my best to live in this planet breathing, eating food, drinking and all of a sudden, poof!? You and the others appeared in my life out of nowhere destroying whatever I have, whatever I worked hard for taking care of my self, and wasting my time like what do you all want from me!?"
"Please, just please forgive me. I won't do it again please please please I am begging you. I am so sorry for whatever we have done to you I really mean it" the girl pleaded, tiny droplets of tears flying around
"Calling me a monster then pleading for forgiveness? I actually don't understand you"
Emmanuel scratched his head.
"I still haven't done anything to you yet. I still have a lot of anger to you. I cannot just let you go just like that"
"Please just please forgive me!"
Emmanuel thinked silently, rubbing his chin. He snapped his fingers.
"Since you destroyed my mental, how about I destroy yours?"
The girl's eyes widened.
"Wha-what are you talking a-about? Wh-what mental" her voice trembling
Emmanuel smirked
"You're 20 right?"
The girl remained silent, sobbing, Emmanuel smacked her face.
"Didn't you just hear me bitch!? I am asking you, you're 20 with the others in that room right!?"
"Y-yes"
"Then, you are now usuable"
"What-what the you mean usuable!"
"My long hard rod inside of you"
The girl screamed and tried to crawl away, but was stopped by the chains.
"You're insane! Help me get away from this maniac! Please!"
"Woah woah woah. Didn't your boyfriend did the thing to my girlfriend before? She committed suicide because of that! So, wouldn't it be fair if I do it to his girlfriend?"
My eyes widened in schock and looked at Attorney Antonio. His right hand is shaking, holding his anger in. I should stop this kid.
I tried to unsheathe my sword. Wh-what, I cannot move my hand. What is happening!?
"I am sorry to say this but let him do what he wants. You and them are in the enemy side. As an evil ghost, our job is to let our owner do what they want. And of course it is our job to let the other ones to do what they want to do. If you want a ghost that can't control you, then you have to get a good ghost. But unfortunately, that is impossible. You already have me"
My hand shaked, I tried to struggle but somekind of force is stopping me. It felt like I turned into a stone. Okay, I give up. I don't want to hear their conversation any more.
"Please help me mister! Don't leave me with him!" The girl pleaded to me
I-I am sorry girl but there is nothing I can do.
"Hey, Emmanuel! Keep that dirty talk inside that room full of girls of yours. Fucking disgusting to hear" Santos shouted
"Okay okay, time to go back there and let me think what will I do to the others"

The girl's shriek scraped our ears as Emmanuel pulled her inside. He closed the door and locked it. There is something I noticed, why didn't I felt any guilt? As if everything that just happened is nothing?
I went behind Attorney Antonio.
"Can I... Have a look of your photo again? It's just that, it reminds me of my son and daughter"
He took out the photo from his pocket and gave it to me. I looked at the photo, it was him and his little daughter. He said her name Henava, such a beautiful name. But she is no longer in this world.
His daughter is a victim of a hit and run. They left her to die, Antonio was in breakdown. They tried to put the culprit in court, but somehow and suddenly, the culprit won. It was lack of evidence that they actually done it. What a fucking judge
Antonio has nothing to do, so, he decided to join in politics, he picked attorney. To help victims win in court and a chance to fight with judges. Antonio helped a lot of victims won in court, he was a legend.
He even make clients hire him in low prices. But... He didn't deserve to have the evil side possess him. Was he broken enough? But still, he didn't deserve it.
I have a daughter and son, I would never feel what Antonio ever feel after losing a daughter. I was lucky to send them both in Manila for better education. Sigh, I want this to stop now.

We remained silent for a bit but, we don't hear anything.

The man was terrified. I made the robot equip a revolver.

While Lovely beside her is very terrified that she can't even talk. They both looked like they know each other.
"You said that it is only happening here in Baguio and La Trinidad right?" I asked Ryder
"Yes, that was what I saw online"
"Then why is it not happening in other places?"
Ryder closed his eyes and crossed his arms.

We saw a someone about our age holding out his gun, smoke coming out of tip of the gun. It was aimed directly at a man who is scared looking at him. There is a bullethole on the wall beside his head.
The gun's design is no ordinary design, orange light on edges, geometric shapes. It might be his ability. The others were shocked looking at him. The man who was nearly shot is breathing heavily, eyes wide open, down on the floor.
"What are you doing!"
"This motherfucker kept on complaining and bragging so I want to silence him. You know what he kept on bragging about? We are useless as nothing like we don't go out to get food even tho he is the number 1 here to drain our food" he replied, still pointing his pistol on the man's head
"Okay but not with the gun, you are going to distract them here" I lowered his pistol down

We felt a sudden shook nearby, a strong shake, it felt nearby. People began to panic.
"Quiet everyone and lay low, don't make sudden noises!" The police silence them
We all lay down quietly, we all held out breaths, some covered their mouths, panicking. I..... Suddenly remember someone, someone missing and someone we left.
"Wait a minute, Sarah!"
I ran to the door.
"Tyrone, wait!"
Ryder followed behind and pushed me down.
"You are making the others panic!"
I peeked through the countertop. I saw a musculine man outside through the window. What the hell I am looking at. He had small thin cracks all over his body, there is something coming out of the cracks.
It is like a huge leaking gas, green thick swirling gas coming out of the cracks, it looked very poisonous. The gas spread around him on the air. The man look around. Shit where is Sarah!
I heard a sob, just nearby. I went a bit up and looked at the floor. There she is, sprawled down on the floor trying to hide. Sarah noticed me, I made a hushing motion with my finger and mouth.
The man looked towards my direction, Ryder and I went down covering behind the counter.
"Nah, I swear that sound came from here. It sounded like a gun. Do they have gun abilities?" We heard him muttering
How did that man made the ground shake? Is it not only a gas? I peeked through the side to aid and calm Sarah down. Sarah is crying and sobbing. Droplets of tears dropping to the floor. I guided her to deep breathing and long exhale.
"Hey, whoever you are, get the fuck out now!" That 'gas-man' shouted
I looked through the window again, oh no oh no oh no, he is coming towards our direction! His footsteps crunching. I signaled Sarah to stay quiet and hid behind the counter again.
We waited, holding our breathes in. We could hear the sound of the gas.
"I could make myself a coffee but I am not in a mood now. Guess I will comeback later"

We heard a whooshing sound, we looked up again. The man was gone, leaving a trail of thick gas.
"Sarah, it's okay now"
Sarah let out all of her cries.
"Guys, it's okay now"
Whatever we saw was, it looked scary. It was a good thing I am not going to fight him. Wait is my robot immune against his gas? Well even tho, if he found me as the user, he will go to me and kill me with his gas.

"So, what is the plan?" I asked Emmanuel's ghost
"The plan is simple, find the person who has the ability to make a dome barrier around this city so that no a single person can escape and come inside. After that, we are going to wait 7 months so that we will evolve or get stronger and can now spread ghost on another city"
"Why is this city the only one getting affected?" Antonio asked
"Not only this city, but La Trinidad also, hehehe but that is just near Baguio. Well, our plan here is to evolve first and go to another city but one catch, we are refrain to go to another places, we are trapped in here. The passive of this is that not only awaken on the birth place of us bad ghost, but also affect the most nearest place of the city. And since La Trinidad is the most nearest city of Baguio, then of course La Trinidad is also affected" my ability answered his question
"How can we know our range, how far we can only go?" Santos asked, putting both of his feet on the table
He handed me his lighted cigarette and I puffed out a smoke.
"That's why we need to find our allied dome makers. It should need 5 of them, there are 15 of the scattered around the city and La Trinidad. Just to make sure one died, there are still a lot of backup. Tthey can't do it by themselves."
Antonio's s ghost sounded the same like, serious tone.
"Why need 5?"
"It will take a lot of energy to make the dome barrier around both cities. If only 4 then still some can still go in and go out"
"Actually, there is only someone that can still go in and go out of the dome barrier even if it was fully made" Emmanuel's ghost added
"Huh?"
"What?"
"Who is it?"
Our ghost was confused.
"Don't you remember? The leader of the good ghosts can go in and go out. The leader can always ignore the effect of the dome barrier"
"Ahh, yes, we forgot about that"
"So if we find the leader of the good ghosts, we get the victory"

"You're telling me that we will wait 7 month or more just to reign victor!? Hell nah!" Emmanuel complained

We all looked at Antonio, elbows on the table, hands crumpled, knuckles on his chin.
"Yeah, good question. What if we don't contribute?"
"Then, your own ghost will self destruct of you"
Suddenly, Antonio pulled out his gun from his holster and pointed it at his head. What the-!? My hand suddenly acted on its own, grabbing the sword and sliced the gun into half.
My hand just... Acted on its fucking own.
"But there is a catch, not only you, but your entire bloodline. Your cousins, your mother, grandmother's, sons and daughter, second cousin, third cousin, in another country, whoever people that has the very identical same DNA as you will instantly die. That means, you are also killing innocent lives that aren't involve in this. So Antonio, you change your mind?"
