"Lin Shen, is that really you? I almost thought I mistook someone else." Long Yue approached Lin Shen, scanning him up and down uncertainly. Once she confirmed it was indeed him, she exclaimed in surprise.
Lin Shen recognized her voice and confirmed it was truly Long Yue. He began to contemplate whether he should take this opportunity to seize the Fire Seed from her.
"Do I look so commonplace?" Lin Shen asked with a smile.
"Not at all. It's just that rumors outside say you've already broken through the Immortal Gate and entered the Celestial Court. Seeing you here, I thought my eyes were deceiving me." Long Yue explained.
"I was merely taking a break in seclusion." Lin Shen casually gave an excuse, not bothering to elaborate further. He then asked Long Yue, "Why are you here?"
