Chapter 12 - Agastya get Attracted to Aarohi

Mathur Industries,Aarohi's Private Elevator..

Aarohi stood awkwardly inside her elevator, blinking uncomfortably as she tried to avoid eye contact and ignore Gaurav's earlier remarks. But no matter how hard she tried, it wasn't working.

To distract herself, she suddenly pulled out her phone and murmured, "I wonder how far Manveer's investigation has progressed... Let me check."

As she switched it on, the screen remained black. Her phone was dead. Aarohi's expression turned from confusion to irritation.

"Damn it! Did it really have to switch off right now?" she muttered angrily, annoyed that she had no escape from the thoughts racing in her mind.

Moments later, something struck her memory. She quickly exited the office without informing anyone.

Back in the Aarohi's cabin, Agastya returned to find it completely empty. Yet a faint, familiar fragrance still lingered in the air,Aarohi's perfume. It told him she had just left the place.

There was something strangely comforting about the soft, soothing scent. For a moment, he felt a warmth within him... a gentle pull he couldn't explain.

Surprised by his own thoughts, Agastya frowned and muttered to himself, "What the hell is wrong with me? Since when did I start noticing women's perfumes?"

Meanwhile, in City Hospital, a masked figure moved silently down the corridor toward a particular ward. Once outside the door, he glanced up at the CCTV camera with a wicked smile—one that clearly spelled trouble.

He slipped inside the room and walked to the patient's bedside. Without hesitation, he injected something into the IV bottle hanging nearby.

Leaning close to the patient's ear, he whispered, "You've caused too much trouble. Time to rest in peace."

The masked man slipped out quietly. Moments later, the patient on the bed began convulsing, his body reacting violently to the injection.

Platinum Plaza Residence,

In one of the most luxurious residential areas of Mumbai, a grand, well-lit mansion stood tall despite the late hour. Inside, Urmila Aunt, lovingly called Bebe, was pacing the hall anxiously.

Fuming, she grumbled, "Let that girl come home tonight. I swear I won't let her go easy. It's this late and she still hasn't returned!"

Sitting lazily on the sofa, Tanya replied sleepily, "Come on, Bebe. You know Aarohi does what she wants. This isn't the first time she's come home late. Why stress and raise your Blood pressure?"

Bebe shot her a glare and marched over, grabbing Tanya's ear sharply. "You silly girl! I'm dying of worry, and all you can do is give me unwanted wisdom?"

"Ow, Bebe! Please let go of my ear. I'm sorry! I'll help you find her, I promise! Just please let go!" Tanya winced in pain, trying to free herself.

Releasing her finally, Urmila asked with suspicion, "You'll really help me find Aarohi?"

Tanya pouted, rubbing her ear. Said,"Yes, yes, Mom. I know exactly who can track her down. That bitch, that ghost,"

After getting sharp Stare by her mom, she Corrected,"uh, I mean, Pasha. If anyone knows where Aarohi is, it's her."

Pasha had always been like Aarohi's shadow, constantly around her, always watching. If anyone knew Aarohi's whereabouts, it was her.

Without wasting time, Tanya pulled out her phone and dialed Pasha's Number.

Urmila rolled her eyes and muttered, "Oh My God... What do I do with these two ? One speaks so little, it's scare the hell out of me, and the other one doesn't know how to stop talking. Was she born with a broken mute button?"

As soon as the call connected, Tanya blurted, "Hello, Ghost! Ah,I mean, Pasha. Aarohi's phone is off. Do you know where she might be?"

Pasha replied something that made Tanya pause, deep in thought.

"Oh, okay," she said finally, then ended the call.

Urmila looked at her expectantly. "Well? Where is she?"

"She's still at the office, like always. Caught up in her work. You know how she forgets everything once she gets into her tasks." Tanya explained, trying to ease Bebe's worry.

Urmila let out a long sigh of relief. "Thank God... Aarohi is safe, she always ends up in arguments with people. Madam Ranjana(Aarohi's Maternal Grandma) has placed a huge responsibility on Me before her death. I worry about Aarohi's safety every day."

Tanya smiled and nudged Bebe gently. "Relax, Mom. Wherever Grandma is watching from, she knows how strong Aarohi has become. And honestly, you should be more worried about the people Aarohi gets into fights with. She leaves them in bad shape!"

That last remark made Urmila chuckle softly. Finally relieved, she headed to her room to sleep.

As soon as Urmila was out of sight, Tanya quietly slipped out of the house.
