Delilah sat on the couch with her legs tucked under her. She held Jessica's novel in her lap as she, but her eyes were on Jessica, who was fixing her makeup.
"You're looking awfully good for someone who is going to have lunch with someone else's boyfriend," Delilah said and Jessica giggled.
"The same boyfriend I was convincing you to open your heart to just last night," Jessica said dryly.
"My heart was open already. I was just standing at the entrance," Delilah said with a roll of her eyes.
"Yeah. Right," Jessica said, and then turned away from the mirror to look at Delilah.
"Can you pick me up after lunch?" She asked, and Delilah raised a brow.
"Why? You won't even know where you're having lunch yet. Besides, I'm sure he is going to send the driver to take you home," Delilah said, and Jessica nodded.
"I know that. I'm not coming him immediately after. I want to stop over at Pete's graveside," she said, and Delilah nodded.
