"If it's certain, then it should be!"
"It's certain alright. You all heard her just now. She said if she were to perform the acupuncture, she'd send my son to his grave! Isn't that intentional murder?"
"Mrs. Lin, the appropriate punishment is for a judge to decide. No one else has the right to interfere!"
Seeing the officers being so courteous to Mrs. Lin, An Yan subconsciously replayed the scenario in her mind.
Then, a slight smile touched the corners of her lips.
"Are you two really going to take me away based on this ambiguous recording?"
The two officers exchanged another glance. They knew this wasn't entirely proper, but Mrs. Lin was Captain Lai Xiaojun's sister.
An Yan noticed their hesitation and reminded them good-naturedly, "Think it over. Once I go in, I won't be coming out easily."
Mrs. Lin laughed. "Do you think the police station is your home? 'Not coming out easily?' Good! Then you can just stay in there and rot!"
An Yan raised an eyebrow. "Alright, let's go."
