Chapter 210 - Chapter 114 Back to Earth (Part 1)

"Brother Talot."

"Talot."

As the two voices called from afar, Talot, who was deep in discussion with Olibu, smiled slightly and looked up.

Even without deliberately using his aura to sense it, nothing in this area could escape the coverage of his spirit energy.

Raditz and Salari were approaching, and he naturally sensed them.

"Don't worry, I'm fine. I gained a lot from this battle. In the future, you two can also learn more from Olibu. You should have seen his strength through the Far-Seeing Arts technique of North Kai." Talot said to Salari and Raditz, then turned to Olibu.

"You flatter me. It's I who need to learn more from you, especially about the Kaio-ken. I've trained for a thousand years, and even now, I can only use it up to 3x." Olibu shifted the topic, speaking to Raditz.

Clearly, these words pleased Raditz greatly; receiving the respect of a powerful warrior was something that made him immensely proud.

Talot had to admit, while Olibu had seemed stiff and inarticulate earlier, he now believed the man was truly wise.

He knew exactly what to say to what kind of person in order to ensure the relationship never soured too much.

With the basic conversation complete, the group used flight techniques and the Sky Hovering Art to return to the North Area's camp.

At that moment, there were some outsiders present.

It was the South Kai who had come over with his warriors.

At present, among the Kais of Grand Kai's Planet, he was the only one here. He had just brought some rookies to Grand Kai's Planet.

What he didn't expect was to run into North Kai, who had also come to deliver rookies, and that such an intense battle was taking place here.

The scene appeared harmonious, but beneath the surface, their words clashed sharply. Anyone perceptive could see it; this was a confrontation between North Kai and the South Kai.

After a bout of verbal sparring between the two Kais, the South Kai finally left with his warriors.

It was quite clear, he was shocked that North Kai had brought three living people this time.

Especially upon hearing from North Kai's arrogant tone that this had been specially permitted by Lord Grand Kai, it left him even more stunned. He found it difficult to control his emotions as if they were stormy waves on a sea.

"Lord South Kai, how could Lord Grand Kai allow living people to come to the Other World, and even stay on Grand Kai's Planet for the long term? This doesn't make sense," one of the strong warriors asked the South Kai.

Hearing this, the South Kai didn't even look at him and said, "Exactly. If you could guess Lord Grand Kai's intentions, then he wouldn't be Lord Grand Kai."

"You mean, Lord Grand Kai must have a special reason for doing this?" another warrior asked.

"Of course. Otherwise, how could something like this be allowed? What I'm curious about is whether Lord Grand Kai arranged for North Kai to do this, or did that North Kai somehow trick him? Looking at those three Saiyans, they don't seem all that special, just regular humans."

As his voice faded, another warrior beside him began, "Maybe…"

Before he could finish, the South Kai silenced him with a single glance.

"That's enough. Just do your own jobs. The rest is not for you to speculate on. I will meet with Lord Grand Kai shortly, the answer will be mine to know."

With that, the South Kai and his group returned to the South Area's camp.

After sending off the South Kai, it was a long time before North Kai finally dispersed the gathered warriors on his side.

Once all the minor matters were settled, he took the initiative to speak to Talot, Raditz, and Salari: "What I'm about to say might make you laugh, but as you've seen, the relationships between us Kais aren't as cordial as you might have imagined. But that's fine. Now that you've met the South Kai, you'll know how to survive here on Grand Kai's Planet. Just remember, unless absolutely necessary, don't step onto another's turf. But of course, if someone else comes to provoke or cause trouble, we from the North Area will never back down."

North Kai spoke with firmness, which for the first time made the trio feel he had a bit of swag.

Salari gave a big thumbs-up, and even Raditz was moved and praised him for his protectiveness.

Seeing this, North Kai was naturally overjoyed.

"Don't worry, you know what kind of people we are, Lord Kai. We also know what needs to be done. Now, shouldn't it be time to arrange where we'll be staying? We can't possibly keep using the portable houses we brought with us, right?" Talot didn't intend to dig deeper into the earlier matters and instead shifted the topic, taking the initiative to ask.

"That's easy." Upon hearing this, North Kai looked toward Olibu and said, "You've already gotten to know each other through battle. So I'll trouble you to show them around their lodging, Olibu. And, while you're at it, help Talot and the others get familiar with everything here."

"Lord Kai, you're not going to personally take us there?" Salari asked curiously.

"I still have some matters to attend to. Otherwise, I'd definitely accompany you. But don't worry, I'll be back soon." North Kai replied.

Since he put it that way, Salari had no choice but to drop the question.

Olibu followed up, "Leave it to me, Lord North Kai."

"Mm." North Kai nodded, exchanged a glance with Talot, then clasped his hands behind his back and turned to leave into the distance.

Watching North Kai leave, the group then turned away from North Kai and began to talk among themselves.

After chatting for a bit, Olibu began leading Talot, Salari, and Raditz on a tour of Grand Kai's Planet.

Naturally, the first stop was the residential area in the North Area's camp.

It consisted of a series of standalone small houses, not large, but not too small either. At the very least, each one was sufficient for a single occupant.

Most people might not notice, but Talot definitely sensed something; the style of these houses, didn't they resemble graves?

If he didn't already know this was the Other World, if he didn't know this was housing for the dead, he might have blurted out a complaint.

In the end, Talot and the others decided to stick with the portable housing they had brought with them.

After all, they weren't dead, who would willingly sleep in a grave?

With the lodging settled, the three followed Olibu to gain a detailed understanding of the different regions of Grand Kai's Planet, and got acquainted with a number of people.

It wasn't until nearly an hour later that they returned to the spot where their portable house was set up.

After seeing Olibu off, only Talot, Salari, and Raditz remained in the spacious room.

That was it for today.

They had just arrived, after all, and earlier, Talot and Raditz had already fought fierce battles with Olibu and Mijorin.

Although there was no real concept of time here, Talot felt that it would be best if they didn't go out much in the near future. Otherwise, it would come off as too aggressive and might attract resentment.

The people here weren't fools, each one had lived for countless years and had deep experience.

If the three of them were too eager to show off and kept making appearances, it would only breed annoyance.

With no outsiders present, the three sat on the living room sofa, speaking openly.

"Never would've thought there'd be so many powerful beings on Grand Kai's Planet. I was really a frog at the bottom of a well before. Now I see just how big the world really is," Raditz said with a sigh.

In other words, he really meant: Who would've thought the world of the dead could be this incredible?

Little did he know, this was just the tip of the iceberg.

This world was far larger than what they'd seen so far.

"Brother Talot defeated Olibu, which means that from now on, Brother Talot is the strongest warrior in our North Area," Salari said directly.

Raditz agreed: "The legendary Super Saiyan is already the universe's number one warrior! No matter where he is, that doesn't change!"

The words were too absolute, prompting Talot to respond: "You guys shouldn't view me as invincible. If we fought again, maybe Olibu would turn around and defeat me. Once you reach a certain level of strength, everyone has their own special techniques, just like how we Saiyans have the Super Saiyan transformation…"

"You mean, Olibu still has hidden power he didn't use?" Raditz asked in shock.

"No way! If that were true, he wouldn't have lost so thoroughly in the last fight," Salari added.

Talot shook his head. "In any case, when you two become as strong as I am, you'll understand."

The two exchanged glances, filled with disbelief.

"Anyway, over the next while, you'll need to rapidly build up combat experience, increase S-Cells, and speed up your understanding and control of them. Only by perfecting Super Saiyan transformation can you step up to a higher level, just like I have."

Upon hearing this, Salari and Raditz's expressions grew serious.

They both nodded one after the other, as if they had already made up their minds.

Even without Talot saying anything, they would've pushed themselves to become Super Saiyan faster.

Not for any other reason, but simply to become stronger, and not hold Talot back.

Before, the feeling wasn't so strong. But after witnessing the battle between Talot and Olibu, they were made painfully aware of their own weakness. If they didn't work harder, they'd be left far behind.

Seeing their expression, Talot nodded with satisfaction.
