The days of summer vacation had flown by, and now it was the day before the start of Aryan's second year at the Ninja Academy. The past month had been a whirlwind of intense training and preparation for what was to come. Aryan had devoted himself entirely to mastering the fire release chakra shape transformation. His dedication and relentless focus had brought him close to achieving his goal. He estimated that it would only take another month or two to perfect the transformation completely.
During this time, Aryan had also managed to learn ten different types of D-rank ninjutsu, each one a fundamental requirement for becoming an exceptional Genin. Thanks to the precise control over chakra that his Six Eyes granted him, Aryan found that he could easily master these jutsu. The ability to perfectly regulate the flow and intensity of his chakra allowed him to grasp the intricacies of each technique with remarkable speed. The list included:
Kawarimi no Jutsu (Substitution Jutsu), Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Jutsu), Bunshin no Jutsu (Clone Jutsu), Kakuremino no Jutsu (Cloak of Invisibility Technique), Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique), Nawanuke no Jutsu (Rope Escape Technique), Kinobori no Waza (Tree Climbing Practice), Suimen Hokō no Gyō (Water Surface Walking Practice), Kage Shuriken no Jutsu (Shadow Shuriken Jutsu)
Each technique brought Aryan closer to his goal of becoming an outstanding shinobi, one who could navigate the complexities of the ninja world with both skill and precision.
Midway through the vacation, Aryan arranged to meet up with Tsunade. When they met, she couldn't resist teasing him by calling him "The Prideful One." Aryan blushed slightly, but he took the jest in stride, a small smile playing on his lips.
Their conversation soon turned serious as they discussed the overwhelming support they had received from the major clans of the village. Aryan and Tsunade recognized how this support would greatly benefit their efforts at the academy, particularly in setting up a training program for aspiring medical ninjas within the student club.
"Tsunade, I think it would be best if you handled the medical ninja training," Aryan suggested. "You're more suited for it, and the students will look up to you as the granddaughter of the First Hokage."
Tsunade nodded, agreeing with Aryan's assessment. "I'll do it. But we need to make sure the students are serious about it. Medical ninjutsu isn't something to be taken lightly."
They also discussed the idea of transforming their study group into an official school entity. With the village's backing, they could elevate the study group into a formal organization, a Students' Union that would represent all the students who had joined their cause to the village officials. They spent time outlining the basic structure, with Aryan and Tsunade at the helm, ensuring that the union would be both effective and inclusive.
The conversation then shifted to the matter of the medical baths provided by the Ino-Shika-Cho clan. Aryan and Tsunade both agreed that while the support was generous, it might not be ideal for the civilian students to receive direct aid from the clans. There was a risk that those students might feel indebted, which could complicate things in the future.
"We need to find a way to make this more neutral," Aryan said thoughtfully. "Maybe we can ask the school body and the Hokage to act as intermediaries. That way, the support comes from the village itself, and not directly from the clans."
Tsunade agreed, and they decided to bring this idea to the school officials once the term began. With their plans set, they parted ways, each more determined than ever to see their vision come to life.
While Aryan was absorbed in his training, there were serious discussions happening within his family. His mother, Ayame, had grown increasingly concerned about Aryan's future. She voiced her worries to Kenji, her husband, and Hiroshi, their eldest son, one evening as they sat together.
"I'm so worried about Aryan," Ayame confessed, her voice tinged with anxiety. "He's grown up in a peaceful and loving home. But out there, the world is harsh and cruel, especially for a ninja. I fear how he will handle the realities of our world. He has such a peaceful nature… how will he cope with taking another life?"
Kenji and Hiroshi remained silent as Ayame spoke, her pain evident in every word. When she finished, Kenji took a deep breath and replied, "Ayame, I understand your concerns. But Aryan is strong, and he is our son. It's my duty as the head of this family to prepare him for what lies ahead."
Kenji paused, then added, "Aryan is already old enough to perform the Uchiha coming-of-age ceremony. Hiroshi and I will take care of this. I will guide him, just as my father guided me. He's focused on completing the chakra shape transformation for the fire release now, but once he's done, I'll take him on his first mission outside the village before he starts his internship at the Konoha Hospital."
Ayame looked at her husband, a mixture of fear and trust in her eyes. She knew Kenji was right, but that didn't make it any easier to accept. Still, she nodded, placing her faith in the man she loved and the son they had raised.
