[TL/N: Read my new work - Anime Group Chat in a Doomsday World!]
-------
"Well, well. They say it's nearly impossible to get tickets to Miku Izayoi's concert, yet you managed to snag two. Not bad."
Alexander sat in the front row, nodding silently. He had never attended a live concert before.
The main reason? Back then, he didn't have as much free time, constantly buried under work. Even now, with less work pressure, his plate was still full with other things.
"Who would've thought that my first concert would be spent sitting next to a guy in women's clothing? This is... awkward, to say the least."
Alexander sighed helplessly, glancing at Shiori beside him. Little did Shiori know, her true identity had already been exposed. Oblivious to the revelation, she sat there, entirely absorbed in the anticipation of the upcoming performance.
Suddenly, the stage lights brightened, and melodious music began to play.
---
"The sky of pure hues, when tinted with color, transforms the world itself…"
Under the spotlight, a beautiful girl resembling an idol princess appeared, and the entire venue erupted in cheers.
"Miku! Miku! Miku!!!"
"Miku, I love you!"
"Long live our goddess!"
The crowd went wild, their enthusiasm uncontainable. Yet, Miku Izayoi remained unaffected by their shouts. She continued singing, her ethereal voice captivating the audience.
"If I stay with you, I'll face every day with a smile…"
---
Miku's voice was nothing short of enchanting. Amplified by the mystical power of her spirit form, it carried an irresistible allure that could intoxicate anyone who heard it.
Alexander, though resistant to such temptations, still found himself captivated. After all, who would reject something so beautiful? He joined the crowd, cheering in admiration.
Beside him, Shiori was also thoroughly enjoying the performance. However, through the earpiece she always wore, a familiar voice interrupted her bliss.
"Shido! What are you doing just sitting there? Hold Alexander's hand! Stop enjoying the music and make your move! Attack! Quickly, attack!"
It was Kotori's voice, urging Shiori into action.
Resigned, Shiori sighed internally. "Alright, seems like I have no other choice…"
She reached out to grab Alexander's hand. But Alexander, being Alexander, wasn't someone easily caught off guard.
Swipe!
With a quick motion, Alexander dodged effortlessly.
"Huh? He dodged?" Shiori frowned. "I'll try again!"
Swipe! Alexander dodged once more.
"Again!"
Dodge.
"Grab!"
Dodge.
---
The two continued this comical back-and-forth for several rounds, Alexander evading each of Shiori's attempts with ease. Finally, exhausted, Shiori resorted to a more direct approach.
"Gotcha!" Shiori raised both hands and lunged forward, grabbing Alexander firmly.
Alexander let out a helpless sigh. Meanwhile, the song concluded, and the audience erupted into cheers and applause for Miku.
Sensing an opportunity, Alexander clapped enthusiastically, seizing the moment.
"That was amazing! Miku, you're incredible!"
His cheers were so animated and loud that, among the sea of voices, his stood out. Sitting in the front row, he couldn't have been more conspicuous.
---
Onstage, Miku, who had been radiating sweetness, froze mid-act. Her expression darkened as her gaze zeroed in on Alexander. Her voice turned icy as she addressed the crowd.
"Who allowed a man into my concert?!"
The words sent a jolt through Alexander.
"Uh-oh…"
He realized the gravity of the situation. Miku's deep-seated hatred for men wasn't exactly a secret. With him sitting there in plain sight, her reaction was inevitable.
"This is bad… How could I have overlooked something so important?" Alexander muttered, shaking his head in dismay.
Before he could explain himself, Miku's demeanor shifted dramatically. A hazy light enveloped her as she began to transform—right there, in front of everyone.
---
However, none of the audience members seemed alarmed. To them, it was just another dazzling stage effect.
Alexander, on the other hand, knew better.
