The chirping of morning birds echoed through the dew-kissed gardens, their melodies basking in the gentle warmth of the rising sun. The golden light bathed the stone-paved walkway that led to the grand marble staircase ascending into the heart of the castle. Along either side of the path, a row of paladins stood in gleaming armor, motionless, their visors glinting in the sunlight as they bore silent witness to the arrival underway.
At the top of the staircase stood six individuals, impeccably dressed.
At their center was Sapphira, Duchess of the realm, her presence radiant and commanding. She wore a flowing emerald gown threaded with gold embroidery along the hem, its fabric glimmering subtly with every movement.
