"Zeya, you gave me the wrong file. I asked you for the total yearly revenue," Cherry said, her brow furrowed in confusion as she scanned the document. "Wrong file?" I whispered, my voice barely audible. I reached for the document, my heart pounding a frantic rhythm against my ribs. Sure enough, it was of some contract between H.S. company and Leo Corporation, not the one Cherry needed. "Oh, shit! How did Kaya's documents end up here?!" I blurted out, panic surging through me like a tidal wave.
"Let me borrow your bathroom. Oh right, please remind me to take this file! I have to sign a really important deal tomorrow."
Remembering Kaya's desperate plea, I turned to Cherry, my eyes wide with a silent plea, hoping for a miracle. Cherry sighed, her expression softening with a mix of exasperation and understanding as she shook her head. "I can delay the presentation for one hour only," she said reluctantly, her voice laced with a hint of resignation.
