"W-What do you mean?" Kasume is startled. "What... what about his?" She asks, referring to her brother.
"Why is that your question?" She hears a voice behind her. She turns around. It's... him. Ryujin. "You obviously don't give anything about me. I was just your stupid younger brother." He takes a seat on the opposite side of the room, with the rest of his class. There's also an older boy with him.
"Ryujin!" She starts toward him, almost sprinting to her twin brother. "Ryujin, I'm so sorry, I-" She's interrupted by the older boy, who looks very much like Tamaki.
"I'm sorry, but your brother doesn't want to speak with you at the moment." He smiles smugly. Tamaki cuts between them. "Now, now, Mori, don't taunt the poor girl." They start bickering, as likely often done, but Kasume isn't listening. She's paying attention to Ryujin. He's sitting in the back of the room, next to his classmates. He seems to be... avoiding her gaze? He looks up for a bit, but averts his eyes once he catches Mori looking at him. Kasume is now suspcious. Brother... She thinks. What in the world are you hiding?
"Anyways," Tamaki continues, snapping the girl out of her thoughts. "You 8 are some of the most gifted students in Japan. And as you are, you deserve to know about the rules of the institute." Mori pulls out a paper, reading it out loud.
"'Rule 1: Absolutely no interacting with anyone in the other class.'" Murmurs are spread quickly, confusion evident on everyone's faces. Kazuki is confused most, and he almost whimpers.
"B-but... the only girl in our class doesn't even like me..." He cries out pitifully. Kage drags him away from his hiding spot behind the door where he was looking at Megumi's hair.
"Come on out, you imbecile." He lets him go, bowing to Megumi and Tsubaki. "Ladies, I apologize on behalf of my... moronic companion." He flashes a smile. Tsubaki squeals, almost spilling her coffee.
"Megumi, he's so your type!" She nudges her friend. The insomniac girl looks up slowly, looking at Kage disinterestedly.
"Hm... short." She claims dryly. "And I don't like how I can't see his eyes. She gestures to his tinted glasses. Kage chuckles. "You have a keen eye, miss. Tell me, how tall are you?"
Tsubaki answers for her. "Megumi's 5'11! She's almost the same height as Gen!" She casts a glance at the taller boy, who seems just a bit jealous of Kage. He cuts in shortly.
"Alright, Einstein." He gently pushes Kage away from the girls. "Get back to your class." Kage smiles, shaking Gen's hand. "Pleasure to meet all of you..." Gen can't see how Kage's staring into his deep brown eyes, and how he's scanning his figure, and he definitely doesn't notice how the smaller boy keeps his grip just a bit too long.
After Kage takes his seat again, Mori continues. "'Rule 2: None of you are permitted to leave campus. Rule 3: No killing each other, if it can be helped.' That is all.

Later, as they eat their lunch in the common area, the students of class B attempt to decipher the code.
"What does it mean, don't kill each other?" Kazuki asks, taking a bite into his tempura. "Why would anyone kill someone?"
"I don't know... but I mean, the one with the scar on his face looks like he was plotting a murder." Hikaru chimes in morbidly.
"Scar?" Kasume is confused. "You're talking about Ryujin? He's never had any scars...?" She thinks back. I've known him my whole life... She thinks. Or, at least I thought I did,
"Yes." Kage adds, "You didn't notice? He's acquired a maroon shaded mark under his right eye socket, and his sclera seems to be affected by it. It is very noticble."
Silence. Kasume coughs. "Anyone wanna translate?" Kazuki groans, restating Kage's words in simpler form. "Little bro has booboo on eye."
"Hey! I'm not that stupid!" She elbows him harshly. "Ow!" He cries out, rubbing his ribs. "That hurt..."
Hikaru speaks up a bit. "Guys... I think I know what they mean." He holds out his phone, which he had been searching things on before. Kasume leans in to see it. She almost screams.
On the private website, Hikaru had googled a death count of students who attended Osaka Tech. It was over 1000.
