It was a spear that rivaled the Holy Sword in fame, also known as Lengominia, the anchor that could lock the storm of stars. Its true form was the Tower of Stars that connected the inner and outer layers of the world, a pillar of light that fixed the surface of the world with the radiance of stars.
It was rumored that once this lance was withdrawn, the world built upon the physical laws of the present would peel away, allowing the many fantastical rules deemed to exist in the past to emerge.
The lance, said to contain immense power, would release the Light of the End twinkling at the world's end once its true name was unleashed.
If King Arthur's Holy Sword was forged in the Inner Sea of the Star to save the world, the Holy Lance was the Light Anchor that fixed this world in place to maintain its existence.
