A whole day had passed, yet Ravenna and Nyx still couldn't come up with a solid plan to reach Liam. It wasn't that locating him was the issue. Nyx, being a witch, could easily track him with her magic. The real problem was that the moment she cast a locating spell, it would inevitably expose their whereabouts to her sisters. Though Nyx had severed ties with them long ago, the power they shared had been nurtured together since childhood. Their magical connection ran deep, and if one of them used even a fragment of that shared energy, the others would feel it like a ripple in still water as long they were concentrating on locating the other person, which probably, Nyx could guess her sisters would be doing so. That was the risk they couldn't afford to take, so they needed another way.
