"Yeah, Ivar," he said, taking a lengthy look at the woman who was also looking at him.
"What is it mum? Do you know him?" Lewis asked before the awkwardness in the room could get even broader.
She blinked and took her eyes off him. "I don't think so. He just looks like someone I used to know."
Ivar was going to say something to her, but thought better. Instead, he turned to Angel.
"How do you feel?" He asked, his tone softening.
"I wanted to drink some water. Didn't have any in my room, so I stepped out. Catherine was kind enough to offer me some. She even drank out of it first to show me it was okay for me to drink. Then she introduced me to Lewis, her wonderful son. He—" her words faltered when she realized she was yapping.
Ivar chuckled. "Yeah you're definitely fine," he said.
"Thank you so much ma'am for helping her out with water," Kiara said to Catherine.
"It's fine. She's a pleasant lady. Besides, the hospital was kind enough to operate on my son. I'm grateful too."
