Snow's claws scraped against the rooftop, sparks flashing where they kissed concrete. Her eyes gleamed like polished ice, and her body shifted into a stance somewhere between dancer and predator. Opposite roof, Cobra slithered low, body unnaturally fluid, his arms limp at his sides, head cocked like a viper ready to strike.
Yoru moved first.
He and Jin launched forward at once, a blur of claws and fury. The rooftop cracked beneath their feet from the force of the takeoff.
Yoru's claws shot out in midair, glowing faint blue under the moonlight as he twisted into a mid-spin and aimed for Cobra's side. Cobra smiled, barely sidestepping, his hips bending backward in a fluid motion that defied human anatomy. Yoru landed with a sharp growl, claws gouging into the concrete where Cobra's ribs had been a second earlier.
