Chapter 16
Somewhere hidden in Japan.
In a well-decorated white office, a handsome man with blond hair and violet eyes sat. He wore clean, light-colored clothes and over them, a large white doctor's coat. Sitting in his chair, he stared at the papers laid out on the metallic table.
They were reports concerning an experimental subject from the hidden facility of the human eye.
The reports included the following data on the experimental subject:
Report 1: Prenatal Phase
"Power Origins: Nanomachine Experiment in Fetus [Code 001]"
Background:
During the fetal development of [Code 001], a revolutionary experiment with nanomachines was conducted. These nanomachines were introduced into the biological system at an early stage, resulting in exceptionally fast and enhanced growth.
Fetal Development:
The nanomachines infiltrated the cells of [Code 001] and began reinforcing the DNA and tissues, accelerating development and protecting against potential threats during gestation. This resulted in a remarkably healthy and strong baby at birth.
Impact on Later Abilities:
Although no superhuman abilities manifested during the prenatal stage, the nanomachines laid the groundwork for future growth. The body was infused with nanomachines, ready to activate and enhance its powers in the years to come.
Report 2: Early Childhood
"First Steps of the Experiment: From Baby to Child – [Code 001]"
Growth and Development:
From birth, [Code 001] grew and developed at an astounding rate. Muscles strengthened quickly, allowing feats of physical strength that amazed observers. Within a few months, the child could walk and speak fluently.
Intellectual Abilities:
In addition to physical traits, [Code 001] displayed extraordinary intelligence early on. With incredible learning ability and a photographic memory, they could recall details with shocking accuracy. The brain became a formidable tool for problem-solving.
Discovery of Physical Abilities:
As the child grew, it became clear they possessed extraordinary strength—lifting enormous objects and destroying structures with ease, while also demonstrating remarkable speed and agility.
Observation:
Despite their feats, nothing assigned to [Code 001] provided the intellectual or emotional challenge they longed for. This led them to question their purpose and search for truly stimulating challenges.
Report 3: Middle Childhood (Ages 5–10)
"Awakening of Talents: [Code 001] in the Intermediate Stage"
Development of Special Abilities:
Their physical abilities continued to evolve, with strength reaching new, massive levels—allowing for large-scale destruction.
Intellectual Growth:
Their exceptional intelligence became vital in solving mysteries about their life and for developing strategies in challenging situations.
Training and Control:
As they neared age 10, [Code 001] began honing both physical and mental skills, learning to control strength and agility with precision. Their speed and durability increased, approaching light-speed reaction and the ability to endure devastating impacts.
Observation:
Despite their extraordinary skills, [Code 001]'s sense of morality led them to seek deeper purpose—even if that meant facing mortal danger or using intelligence to solve more compelling problems.
Report 4: Pre-Adolescence (Ages 11–13)
"The Challenging Awakening of [Code 001]"
Physical and Mental Development:
At this stage, the effects of the nanomachines became more evident. The body began transitioning toward adolescence, revealing a more developed figure. While the exact nature of the nanomachines remained a mystery, their influence was undeniable.
The child's appearance matured, and their intellect expanded rapidly. With a sharp mind, exceptional memory, and an ability to grasp complex concepts easily, [Code 001] surpassed even the most learned adults.
Facility Challenges:
Throughout this time, [Code 001] continued to face tests designed to challenge them. Yet their boredom became apparent. Despite the increasingly complex and dangerous tasks, they expressed growing dissatisfaction, seeking more meaningful and exciting stimulation.
Tension rose with the researchers as [Code 001] voiced displeasure with the lack of true challenges. Though obedient on the surface, it became clear they yearned for something beyond the facility's confines.
End of Reports.
After reviewing the years of observation on [Code 001], a major problem became evident.
Their dissatisfaction and boredom were a ticking time bomb.
At any moment, they could disobey orders to continue exploring—or worse... kill, purely for amusement.
Sigh. "This is getting worse... there's no way to stop her now. We focused too much on the nanomachines in her body, and I never developed a contingency plan to ensure she'd follow orders. Even if I fought her, I'd clearly lose... I need help from a divine being to control her…"
He stood from his chair and walked to the door, leaving the room.
"For now, I must accelerate the expansion of this experiment into other genetic profiles. Maybe I'll find another subject—one easier to control and capable of stopping her. She's still evolving, and we don't know the limits of nanomachines in the human body. But one thing is certain—this is the evolution of humanity into a second generation."
He continued down the hall toward a room at the end, troubled by the future of his experiment.

The experimental facility was a vast, shadowy place, steeped in a cold, sterile atmosphere. Tall grey metal walls rose imposingly, dim lights casting pale illumination across endless hallways. Tubes and cables twisted along the walls and ceiling, connected to complex machines and devices whose functions only the scientists understood.
The echo of footsteps resounded on the concrete floor as [Code 001] walked through the deserted halls. Her gaze rose to the ceiling, where a series of frosted-glass windows let in faint moonlight. Through them, she could glimpse the stars twinkling in the night—a constant reminder of the outside world left behind.
[Code 001] was a girl with an unusual appearance. Her long blond hair fell in messy strands around her face, adding a rebellious touch to her looks. Her deep, almost hypnotic purple eyes stood out against her pale skin.
She wore a white straitjacket, typically associated with psychiatric patients, though in her case, it was more a statement of her boredom and desire for a true challenge. The straitjacket, while restrictive in appearance, was something she could free herself from at any time—but chose not to.
As she stared at the ceiling, she longed for more—for something that could truly challenge her mind and spirit. She craved the thrill of a genuine battle, something that would make her heart race. But inside the facility, everything seemed designed to keep her contained, as if she were trapped in a golden cage of extraordinary abilities.
The starlight above seemed as distant as her dreams of freedom. [Code 001] knew there was something beyond those walls—something waiting for her in the outside world. And she was determined to find it, no matter the cost.
"The time has come to leave this place. If I keep waiting for what I want to come to me, that would be completely absurd. Like shouting at the sky for money but never doing anything to earn it,"
I released my arms from the straitjacket, ripping it apart to free myself.
"If I want a challenge that stimulates my spirit, I must go out and find it. If there are gods, demons, monsters—or anything interesting out there that can give me the thrill I seek, I'll find them and fight them. Staying here will kill me with boredom."
I raised my fist as high as I could, then brought it down—causing a catastrophe that destroyed the entire facility.
Maybe some survived. Maybe not. Honestly, I didn't care either way.
Mhm... I sensed the presence of someone a bit farther away.
"Oh? If someone survived, they're not a normal human."
Interesting.
I headed toward the "survivor," excited at the thought of an interesting fight.

"Michael-nii-sama, what was that?!"
A beautiful woman with blonde hair and emerald green eyes spoke. Her voluptuous figure was wrapped in a gorgeous white silk dress, and from her back extended twelve radiant, pure white wings.
She looked shocked but curious as she turned to her older brother, Michael—an attractive man wearing white priestly robes. Before them floated a divine artifact that displayed the catastrophe of a hidden facility—hidden from human eyes, but not from theirs. They watched as a young girl obliterated the place effortlessly, her expression showing no strain or emotion as she did so.
Feeling a tinge of guilt, Michael shared some of the truth.
"She was used in an inhumane experiment... by her own father. What you're seeing is the result of that experiment... I've been watching over her for years."
"Then why didn't you save her from that place?!" she demanded, pointing at the now-destroyed facility.
Without looking away, Michael replied solemnly:
"You already know—we're forbidden from interfering in human affairs."
"You may be right, but why not at least try to save one innocent life on our own?!"
"There are many human lives in far worse conditions. She's just one more in the crowd," Michael said coldly.
"That kind of thinking... will be our downfall one day!"
For the first time, his sister showed anger toward him.
Michael wanted to defend himself, but something unexpected caught his attention.
"Someone is approaching that place."
She wanted to continue lecturing her brother, but his words piqued her curiosity. She turned to observe the human realm.
Night had fallen, and heavy rain had begun to pour. The person walking toward the ruined facility was hidden under a black umbrella that obscured their features.
"Gabriel."
"Yes, Nii-sama?"
"I have a feeling... that something great and dangerous is about to happen in the next few minutes."
"Gluh... I feel the same, Nii-sama... this could change the future of the world."
They both watched, filled with unease at what was to come with the arrival of that mysterious figure.
All they could do was pray to their deceased Father for what was about to unfold—not to become something dangerous for the entire world.

"Well, isn't this interesting... you're still alive, Dr. Touya. Or should I call you 'father'? Though it feels disgusting to say that."
Standing before her was the doctor who had been reading the reports. He wasn't injured, but his clothes were tattered and filthy.
"It would be strange for you to call me 'father'... considering I was the one who used you in the nanomachine experiment."
"Ha, you've got a point. But enough small talk. Seeing that you survived, it's obvious you're not a normal human."
"You're right... but I suppose you won't let me go, even if I ask."
"No. I'll come after you even if you run."
Sigh. "I guess that means we have to fight."
Just as the battle was about to begin, a powerful sense of danger swept over them.
Both turned quickly toward the source—but had very different reactions.
The girl looked confused, unsure who the newcomer was.
The doctor, in contrast, was filled with disbelief.
"I heard rumors... that the 'Demon Lord'—the Oni King—was sealed away."
The mysterious figure smiled with amusement, and they both saw it clearly.
"You should remember how strong I am. A mere seal cast by that woman wasn't enough to imprison us forever."
The girl furrowed her brow at the word us, trying to figure out what he meant.
But the doctor understood instantly—his face went pale with fear.
"So you and your partner... managed to escape the seal that bound you for 200 years…"
The man cracked his neck and continued:
"Those were the most boring 200 years of my life. I hope several heroes have risen by now... so they can come try to stop us."
"So you came here... to take [Code 001] with you and train her?"
"That's the initial plan. But I also have something to do with you. First, though, I need to ask—do you want to come with me?"
He turned his gaze toward [Code 001], awaiting her answer.
"Seeing how strong you are... and that I'll be training with you... I'll follow you. But promise me one thing—I want to have fun."
"Hahaha! You'll have it. How about fighting some gods as part of your training?"
"Now that interests me. Can I choose a group of gods?"
She was already getting excited.
"Pick any pantheon you like. With your fists, they'll all fall."
"Hahahaha! Then I choose the Norse pantheon! Out of all mythologies, Norse is my favorite!"
She answered with a wild, gleeful smile.
"Very well. But... one condition."
She frowned. "And what condition would that be?"
"Don't kill anyone. It'll be a problem if divine entities start dying."
She narrowed her eyes in frustration. "Fine. But... can I break an arm and a leg?"
"No problem. As long as you don't kill, that's my only rule."
"Heh! Good! I'm going to satisfy my heart! Being locked up in that facility was killing me with boredom. So, I'm going with you!"
She began walking, moving to stand by his right side.
"Then it's settled. As I said... I had another plan involving you, Dr. Touya."
In an instant, he appeared right in front of the doctor, grabbing his head with his right hand.
"You need to go somewhere else... and fulfill the destiny of someone who's meant to become a hero... who will eventually reach Little Garden and fight us."
He whispered the last words so only the doctor could hear them.
"Don't tell me... the experiment involving the—!"
He vanished without a trace—before finishing his sentence.
From his pants pocket, the Oni King pulled out a cigarette and lighter, lighting up.
He inhaled a puff, then exhaled the smoke calmly.
"It's time to go. Just as you wanted... your training begins with a battle against the Norse pantheon."
His eyes began to glow a fierce crimson red—signaling the clear danger that awaited the world in the near future.
