An ear-shattering scream erupted from Dan as Dalton pressed his hand beneath his shoe. "I didn't do anything to her! I swear!" he screamed, his cries filled with agony. "It was all Charlotte's idea. She is the mastermind!" He pointed his index finger unwaveringly at Charlotte.
Even though Charlotte's face was caked with guilt, she still shook her head in denial. "I don't know this imbecile! He is lying!"
"Oh Lord! Charlotte!" Aiden raised his hands in frustration. "Guilt is written all over your face."
Charlotte, looking vexed, folded her arms across her chest. "There is no proof that I helped your girlfriend cheat on you."
Her persistent denial fuels Dalton's anger. He asked in a deep, sharp tone, "How did you two manage to get her drugged and into that hotel room bed? When and where?" He was flabbergasted. How did they manage to pull that off right under his nose without detection from his security team? Have they become so incompetent?
