Panda stood up in pure shock, it was not every day that you got to see a boy use such an ability...
'How can he use a United Aura... That's something only Paladins, and kings can use. The ability to not only inspire an army, but empower them with one's own strength...'
Then again, how was it that this Stray who had showed up out of nowhere, killed the Naga with nothing but a makeshift sword, submitted a manticore, and held his own against the heir of Frostfang...
He spoke, now that he had truly gained the attention of the entire team, this time even louder than before.
"We will burn the stadium to the ground, and lay waste to the frozen lands of Frostfang, I don't give a damn if they have an heir leading their charge, the king betting against us, them rigging games, or even if they had a god backing them up from the shadows..."
"You will... Stand behind me! Or you will freeze from the likes of your own pride... This game was never going to be easy, and in my meaningless opinion this is no game at all."
Well, everyone was certainly standing now, as the burns of fury led them like an omniscient warmth of the heavens, or perhaps hell...
"So stop viewing it as a game, we go out there fighting like it's war, or we sit our asses down and don't go out there at all."
Chase let one last breath echo through the locker room like a calling of the gods.
"You're either behind me, or not... Let's go show these savages how bright a Phoenix can truly burn..."
With the final word resting in the air like a fine wine, the bells of the stadium rang, and with it followed the chants and screams of the fans across the continent.
Hans looked around, as Chase had already made his way toward the exit, completely ready to take on the threat of Frostfang alone; however, upon very little studying, it appeared that he was the complete opposite of alone, behind him stood every single one of the Phoenix Academy Aetherball players, even the bench was standing around him as he stopped in front of the gate, awaiting it to lift from the ground.
"Burn! Burn! Burn!"
Jack started to chant alone in the darkness of the tunnel, and Chase turned to look at him with an almost uncomfortable expression.
However, somehow the child of ember had caused some sort of chain reaction with his obnoxious timing.
Everyone, and that meant everyone, followed him with chants of both Phoenix, fire, and burn.
It was like the team had finally become united under one simple goal.
Hans grinned.
They had found their leader...
...
When Phoenix Academy took the field, they were followed by a universal flame that had been casted down upon all of them.
Everyone wore fury infested flames that danced across both their skin and their uniforms.
Yet somehow, the flames did not hurt them like they had the one who bestowed them with this head.
The chants of the crowd grew louder, and somewhere in them, Hans heard several voices yelling louder than the rest, it was like some sort of string of fate had been uncovered in the mess that had almost defeated them.
In what other world, could some Stray have carried the home of Phoenix Academy on his back, and somehow changed the entire momentum of the game with a single speech.
'It was truly incredible...'
...
The panda took on a great hit as he stood against three attacking players, yet his mighty power had not been overcame this time, as the ball flew into the cavern of the goal like a soaring comet, Hans felt his power become overwhelming as tower pillars of rock shot from the ground, deflecting the ball back into the arena.
"That all you got?"
He asked, with a strange joy found within this battle.
Then without warning all three attackers shot at him with rage; however, they must have forgotten why he was put at goalkeeper.
More rocks shot from the walls this time, as pillars crushed into every single one of the attackers, leaving their bodies lying limply on the cold ground of the cavern.
"You're out of line..."
He whispered into one the attacker's ears as in the vast distance, he spotted something insanely wrong.
"No, you have forgotten you're in our domain..."
The female attacker growled.
Multiple spikes of ice shot from the ground of the arena in the distance, each towering thousands of feet into the sky.
"What's stopping me from crushing you're skulls and evening the odds then?"
Hans felt a grin come over him, as he remembered just how much he could do in the depths of their own goal.
