"This is so insane..." muttered Kaiser, staring at Aldo.
"He even copied your special move." replied Ellie.
Everyone in the dojo, excluding Alex, looks shocked on how Aldo is able to fight like that.
"I wonder how is Aldo still standing calmly as if nothing happened despite being recieving heavy blows from Dale?" Wondered Ellie.
"On top of that, he effortlessly copied both yours and Dale's moves instantly." continued Ellie.
"I don't know....or....maybe....is it because of that?" replied Kaiser but instantly seemed to remember something.
Ellie looked confused on what Kaiser is trying to say, staring at him.
"What are you mumbling about?" asked Ellie.
Kaiser silently, ignoring Ellie's question, remembers the day when he tortured Aldo physically on paradis island and other children who worked under him.
Aldo, despite getting physically tortured by Kaiser before, never showed any signs of pain.
"Is it about the paradis island incident before you befriended Aldo? I had heard few informations that you used to tortured group members who defied your orders." Ellie understood what is going on.
Ellie and other members must have heard of Kaiser's tyranny acts in paradis island, information which was probably provided by Jack himself before he died.
"Yes....I even broke his leg bones at some point and yet he didn't even react." replied Kaiser, staring at Aldo.
Ellie looked at Aldo again and replied.
"Maybe, he has developed his endurance skills with extreme level of torture he had faced before you both became friends."
"I still feel guilty but you don't have to mention it...but I don't think it might be because of my extreme level torture." said Kaiser, realising something else now.
"What do you mean?" asked Ellie.
"When I tortured him physically for first time, he showed no reactions as if he may have already developed that skill..." Answers Kaiser.
"Is that so? But seems like there is more to him than his resilience. His reflex and adaptability is also on a different level." said Ellie.
"Let's see what happens."
Meanwhile, Aldo became aware of his surroundings that everyone are watching him silently. Aldo pondered something in his mind...
Then Aldo took a bold step. He tried to perform a punch in a telegraphed manner, Dale easily evaded the attack and countered Aldo with a right corkscrew punch again.
This time Aldo got hit by the punch and fell down on the ground instantly. The corkscrew punch was devastating as expected from Dale.
Aldo told Alex that he can't keep up with fighting anymore.
"Huh? Are you seriously injured Aldo?" asked Alex.
Aldo nodded as he felt that his ribcage is broken by a devastating strike just now, he said that his ribcage is fractured by the last attack performed by Dale.
"I-I apologise, I didn't mean to..." apologised Dale, but deep inside he felt something odd.
Aldo shook his head and told Dale that it's not his fault as it is a common occurrence even in sparring matches.
Kaiser and Ellie came closer to Aldo to check on him.
"H-Hey Aldo! Are you alright? Damn, let's get you to the medical room." said Kaiser, with genuine concern.
"Take him to medical room, I apologise for this as well." said Alex, deeply bowing.
"No, it's not your fault. As Aldo told, it happens. Anyway let's go Aldo." said Kaiser.
Ellie seemed to lead Aldo and Kaiser to the medical room. Meanwhile in dojo-
"Are they gone?" asked Alex, dojo master.
"Yes they have..." replied Joshua.
"I apologise master, I did something terrible I guess!" Dale apologises to Alex.
"No it's not your fault, it is common but I am glad you are also alright." replied Alex.
Alex turned to face Joshua and asked.
"Joshua, what do you think about those two?"
"They both are good in their respective strengths. However, that kid named Aldo...." replied Joshua
"I know what you are thinking. But I think there is nothing to worry about it. He will be recovered with best medical care."
"But...seems like we are seeing interesting folks these days. Kaiser and Aldo, huh? This would be fun." continued Alex, muttering to himself.
At infirmary, Aldo is staring at the window side while sitting on his bed. The door got knocked twice, Aldo allowed them to come in.
"Hey dude, how are you now? I have told Founder about your abilities already and he let the doctors know about it. But are you sure about this? You want to reveal your powers, including your passive regeneration skills?" asked Kaiser, in a low voice which can only be heard by Aldo.
Aldo nodded in response, he told Kaiser that their were probably two or more spies at the island aside from Jack so if they try to hide something or lie then it will only lead to bad terms with this organization.
"You are right, when we escaped via motor boats, one the spy had seen us and they even saw the fight between Kale and us." replied Kaiser, thinking back on what the Founder had told them.
"But there are many questions that I want to ask you about... Why don't you react on physical damage? I remember the days when I used to torture you but you didn't reacted at all as if that was nothing." asked Kaiser.
"I am curious about your past before I met you." continued Kaiser.
Aldo went silent and began to stare at the window, telling Kaiser not to pry in his life.
"Well, I understand...I won't persist.." replied Kaiser.
Although Kaiser seemed bit flustered but eventually gave up asking since it was pointless to pursue Aldo.
"By the way, why did you intentionally lose on purpose and got yourself injured?" asked Kaiser.
Aldo's gaze met Kaiser, he noticed that it will be hard to fool Kaiser anymore. Aldo responded that his own lack of skills might be one reason for his own defeat but he wanted to take more damage from Dale.
"Are you crazy!? Why would you even do that risky thing?" asked Kaiser, seems to be quite more confused now.
Aldo responded that during match, Dale had become desperate to prove that he is the best and won't be outclassed by a mere outsider.
He let Kaiser know that Dale's last Corkscrew punch more damage than before, breaking the rib cage as a result.
"Now that you mentioned it, Dale's first corkscrew punch wasn't strong enough to break your ribcage but then at the last moment...." said Kaiser, thinking back on the spar between Aldo and Dale.
"But what's the point of it? Let that kid be jealous of you." asked Kaiser.
Aldo responded with a simple selfish answer, he just wanted to test Dale's true personality for no particular reason at all.
"You are really insane...You don't even have a reason you say and yet.....well nevermind."
However Kaiser seems to notice something about Aldo. Aldo is a kind of person who will try to adapt everything depending on the situation and may collect ever kind of information he could collect.
Kaiser also remembered of those days when Aldo was trained under him and learned every skill quickly. ((Like making weapons or traps, searching or examining, medical medicines, learning how to use weapons and so on. Shown in previous chapters when Aldo was on paradis Island.))
