"I have to go," I squared my shoulders back, "I'll try to clean up this mess."
Connor looked away from me then pressed his lips together in a displeased frown. "Don't make me feel like it's my fault."
"Connor," I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair. "I love you so fucking much but sometimes you can be the biggest sore in my arse crack that just won't stop hurting no matter what. Just for once defend me even if it's in private."
He didn't say anything to that and I just felt a wave of frustration come over me as I tightly held my phone.
"Demyan will be here in a minute with Malia, they'll let themselves in," I left the bedroom and closed the door behind me before going to the garage.
